It may probably be a power button issue. I suggest you twitt to them on their twitter handle, maybe they will have a solution for you. I use to have such issue with my Tecno L8 plus.

Just like someone suggested, force boot to stock recovery and wipe your data. It will fix it.

Same happened to me few weeks back only that I installed an unsupported theme on mine so it kept on rebooting and rebooting.

I can confirm that I've experienced the same thing after installing a theme. It wasn't funny but the force boot thing worked

Find app icon added to recent tab (india region)
Settings have been reduced
Data usage stats have been removed from settings (now
only in battery /performance or clicking it from
notification)
Battery and performance is now different from before..

Should you be in a hurry to have a taste of it? NO
It will come when it will... So enjoy miui 10 while you can.

It now compatible with some themes at least most I have downloaded... To that moniker interested in battery icon change, you can try peywizart or suraj among others now.
