1. They lack the emotional strength to fund the NPF so they allow them to pay themselves from the poor masses not minding the ripple effect on the society.

Like it's a no brainer, ever wondered how in buhari's absent Osibanjo ordered the immediate redeployment of SARS, but as soon as the dullard came back things turned to business as usual...
It takes selfless and strong willed leaders to restructure the Police and right now buhari and his cohorts aren't such!!

The best thing to happen to Nigeria and Nigerians in the future is the total overhaul/reform of the NPF.

Police are moving round ibadan in micra to harass people, once you're by the road side, ATM, mall and a micra parked beside you ,just know that you're in soup, they will accuse you of staying by the road side, check your phones and check your account balance once they see bank mobile app on your phone

By reforming the police force is tantamount to increasing their revenue allocation to improve and develop them, which the government is not ready to spend.
I think the Nigerian Police force don't want to improve themselves, I think they like the way they are; if they happen to be a serious force they would demand for better working condition, better remuneration and the reform of the Police Force.
They should strike and demand for the best themselves. I'm very certain people would support them.
