Don't mind the idiot. It is disrespectful to fart in the midst of people. Most peps consider it offensive. I still don't know where Africans thinks some abnormal things are normal. Our ancestors that made some rules did that to guide and protect us. It is only Africans that finds something odd. The West still preserves their culture and make sure their wards follow suite.
