Citizenshelm:. A similar bill DIED in the 8 senate during a public hearing because it was limited to higher institutions .The senate then believed sexual harassment affects every sector in Nigeria I believe a bill like this should be entitled: Sexual harassment in the private and public sectors. or Sexual harassment in Nigeria. 1 Like |

The bill is discriminatory against educators in tertiary institutions. Laws against sexual harassment should not be restricted to a particular group. A reported case of sexual harassment should be handled by the authorities of the tertiary institution or the police/courts under the already existing laws (that are applicable to everybody). The bill should be thrown out or challenged in court. |
