Hey guys please which of the provinces will one find jobs in their utility industry i.e electricity, water or gas as a finance person. Are there opportunities prevalent in BC, Ontario or Sasks.

Timely response will be great for better decision

This shouldn't be a problem. CIC stated what they need, yours is to give them just that or all they need to arrive at that. A combination of bank statement, reference letter and letter of indebtedness comprehensively caters for all CIC's requirements. They can easily get the average balance from the statement. But if you're still concerned, you could work it out yourself in an LOE (I actually don't think it's necessary).
Bro you have got a mail
Thanks

Hello my people.
Please, anyone in Steinbach, Manitoba here?

We just moved to Steinbach and I am hoping to connect with some Nigerians.

I make all types of beautiful hairstyles and will be glad to render my services to African living here.

I officially welcome myself to this group. Please I have a question, I've been trying to renew my driving licence but I cannot do change of name because there's an issue with their system so its till further notice. I would like to know if I should just get the new one in my maiden name, will I be able to use it in Canada to get a new license in my married name?

Get a new one in your maiden name. I had mine in my maiden name and I supported it with copy of marriage certificate. Hope this helps

Taking a break from work and thought of putting down some random stuff from my experience here so far.
First of all, I'm really grateful for these two stores: Dollarama and No Frills!!! Ha, they've saved my POF from taking an unnecessary big dip!
Also thankful for google maps/TTC bus schedule/route combo.

And for the awesome deals on Facebook marketplace, will come in handy when I get mt own place.

In other news, HR at work (a Nigerian by the way, nice lady) today called me aside to advise me against using strong perfumes. I'm like, I didn't even spray much today, I can hardly perceive it on my body. She says noo, people here can have allergies, some offices don't even allow staff to wear scents. I'm shook.

It snowed for the first time (I think) in Toronto today. It was light, but quite cold.

Okay, back to work.

Hello house! Please has anyone submitted their passports to vfs this week? Did you recieve a lagos tracking ID or a Ghana tracking ID?.

I was told by customer service that passports are now being processed in Lagos and not Accra. Can anyone confirm this please.
Someone came to my office and said it last Tuesday, but I wasn't sure. Will confirm

Hi, some phone products are meant for certain markets only and won't work outside that particular market eg Africa, Asia or Middle East. This applies to both Apple and Android products, some folks were not able to use their old phones in Canada and had to buy here.
One work-around you can try is to get a SIM from another carrier and maybe that might be compatible with your current phone. If this doesn't work then you'd have to consider getting a phone here. All the best.

Hi folks, it's that time of year again and I'm sharing a lovely piece I came across. Kudos to the person who put it together.

Lest We Forget

November 11th is Remembrance Day in Canada.

It is a day Canadians set aside to remember men and women that served and continue to serve in the armed forces to preserve our freedom.

A moment of silence is observed to remember these war heroes for their sacrifice and courage during times of war and conflict. It is also a day Canadians show their respect and gratitude to the armed forces who have laid down their lives for the country.

There are many ways to get involved:
- Attend a Remembrance Day ceremony near you
- Observe a moment of silence on November 11th at 11am
-Watching any of the various ceremonies online
- Donate and buy a POPPY

On this day Banks are closed.
To learn more about this solemn celebration especially in your area, please Google more info.
Happy long weekend to everyone.

That device seems to be locked by the network carrier that sold the iPhone.

Did you buy that iPhone brand new? Are you using a chip with the sim? When you say "unlocked", do you mean you have an activation code from say, Tmobile or AT&T?

Yes, that's one thing every new comers should learn, a..d learn fast. Here in Canada, it is scent free work environment, and you don't even need it anyway. Wetin dey smell for your body in the first place? It isn't that stressful that'll make you sweat to the extent of smelling.
