hello house,

please my redmi note 7 phone I bought 3 months ago fell into a bucket of water and I pick it up immediately and switched it off. after sometime switched it on back.

I've used it for over an hour after the incident before I realized just now that it doesn't make sounds from the speaker. I put on my music and it's not playing out.

what do I do please? Ever since I started using phone, haven't repaired any before. What do you think is wrong with the speaker please?

take it to a good technician to troubleshoot for you. Should there be next time, don't switch it on until after days of "living" in a a full bowl of uncooked rice or bn attended to by a technician.

Don't mind me here. I have an anti establishment rebel thing going and Google is one of the big wolves in that world so I keep looking for alternatives to Google that work just as well

No PC is required download the OTA then go to system update click on the MIUI icon 10 times. Then click on the three vertical dots at the upper right corner you should see choose update package then locate the downloaded ROM and keep your data ON
As for the theme what Kvngwitty posted

Gracias. To be clear, I need Internet access to get it installed?
Also do you recommend I download from the website or wait till one is released to my phone (your opinion)
