they can fail like any other business, jumia and the rest were here before opay with enough funding than opay and they all crashed and went away, jumia had to sell all their asset and focus on their ecommerce site

olx was here with millions of dollars in funding, they also crashed and failed

konga with all its funding was sold to a nigerian company for a mere amount

all these came with their market research and failed woefully.

It's not the business of the government but these guys have huge backing by their government

More so...the principle of their mind set is to first provide services first before thinking about profit...these guys apply these their ten year of work before profit principle and it's been working for them

Jumia and Konga...even etisalat

Not sure they went out in losses...these guys all have an entry and exit strategy.. Nigeria ended been scam by etisalat

They can simply sell Opay recharge cards which should be made available everywhere...their riders should be embedded with a special device with which the card are inserted and payments are made without cash. Problem solved!
