I don't even have the letter of attestation from my school, so I'll be going for the Lagos embassy route.

Just certificate of English proficiency that I have paid for over 3months now, my school haven't sent it to me, I'll rather not try contacting them for another document.

lol! so brother what did you plan doing? because i have contacted my school explaining that i cant meet up with notarization of my docs and they advised me sent the originals and they will return it after admission process is concluded but i have to have patient. admission process will end around dec/Jan . so im considering my original documents as i may not have all the times for the notarization of my docs

I don't think it's advisable to send originals...e no make o

I'll be heading to Abj for the notarization, then when I return to Lagos, I'll visit the embassy for the other one.

My problem now is the application site (jinhakapply), it's not showing the right things from my end. How were you able to navigate through it?

Yes I was in Abuja few weeks ago to legalize my docu You dollars, Naira is not accepted and it’s 4 US dollars per document. I hope this helps.

Please, how were you able to navigate through the jinhakapply site to fill your application form?

I've been running around the site, can't find where to fill my forms, and the deadlines are drawing close.

Also, your application fee, were you able to pay with our normal ATM cards?

@Truidstar and everyone that can help with the jinhakapply site, I'll be expecting your replies please

Tried to help someone 2 weeks ago from Korea here to pay application fees via the same jinhakapply site, it did not work out. Card both Nigeria and Korea did not work, no option for cash deposit, no option to generate a special account in your name with a bank here, I advised him to abandon the effort and look for another school. He has done that. If at this initial stage you are having difficulty, when it comes to paying fees/ the school sending required visa docs to the embassy in Nigeria what will happen?

The problem is that all schools currently accepting applications do so through the Jinhakapply site. From Pusan to Yonsei to Chonnam and it's the same for all these schools mentioned

Please, what is the way out, or which school do you know that isn't facing this issue?

Please

Only use Internet Explorer for official website of any Korean institution. And more importantly, try and download google translate to translate info that is in Korean language.

Thanks for your reply. I have both, the translation isn't the issue, the application is.

I'll try again though

At Abuja to Authenticate my documents

Ministry of Education
Requirements for postgraduate
- WAEC/NECO (which ever one you are using),
- Any other document you want to authenticate
- International passport
- Normal passport photograph
- One coloured photocopy of all the documents you want to authenticate
- Three black and white copies of all the documents you want to authenticate
(Hold CASH, the prices here might have increased by the time you get there)

Very important, no need to use agents, it doesn't cost much if you follow the steps

Will upload the process here, step by step
- Bring ALL your originals... ALL o, them no even collect scanned copy
- Buy a neco/waec scratch card (whichever one you are using) and print out your original result from their website.
Note: i bought my pin online and printed my result for #620, but if you come here to do it, come with #1,200... An official will do it for all those that haven't done it yet (No need to be worried about the official's behaviour, the lady in charge of it is very courteous and will attend to all your questions in a polite manner)

After that, they'll check the originals of ALL the documents you want to authenticate. (Please, bring your passport, it'll be requested at this point)

At this junction, u'll be asked to pay the sum of #250 (probably for the brown envelope you'll be given), and you'll be issued a form to fill with the amount you are expected to pay written on it. Head downstairs to any cyber cafe and generate a remitta for payment. With your remitta, head to any bank and pay into the account (Access and Zenith claim to have network issue, so I used Union just beside the ministry of foreign affairs... Shouldn't take up to 10minutes there). You will collect a printout from the bank

Find your way back to the ministry of education (2nd floor), OCP room and sign the printout from the bank. Take it to the ground floor (revenue office) and convert the bank printout to a receipt (you'll pay #200 for this).

At this point, follow the format in the attached picture and submit to the lady in the 8th floor

Then, hope against hope. If it's signed that day, you'll collect it, if not, you'll come back the next day.

Note: They don't open until 10am, and they don't work on Fridays

Is it a Court affidavit stating the documents are yours?

What's the location of the Lagos embassy, I've checked their website, but only the Abuja office is there.

Thanks

Hello it was not required in Lagos. A document is placed by the embassy on your documents as the legalization, I guess that should serve as the certificate. Authenticated copies and original copies are required as proof. I hope this explanation will help.

please, can I pm you. I was planning on going to Abuja this week till I came across this.

So before going to the embassy, I must have done with authentication stuff abi.

You must have authenticated your documents at the ministry of education and foreign affairs(Abuja) before the embassy will notarize your documents.

Which courier did u use to send your documents to the school, and how expensive/cheap was it?
