Please is fufu same with Akpu?

They are not the same... one is poisonous while the other is a swallow type of food from east.

Mechanically processed fufu has its smell greatly reduced with the addition of chlorine and other chemicals.

fufu is one food i have always disliked though i reluctantly do eat it sometimes; how can you be eating food and it will be smelling like some girls pussy, fufu most times is already disgusting to eat, unless you make it yourself, most of the ones sold smell really awful, that the smell will even stink in your palm for more than day in some instances, hence i have come to an end eating that nasty disgusting stinking unhygienic poisonous food.

Those who think hausa perfume last 4ever. Have not seen anything an encounter with a Yoruba fufu will convince u. I ate one d other day and d fufu scent didn't leave my hand even when I spray aboki perf, to d extent I had to wash my clothes in other to get rid of the smell. There was a day I advised my wife to buy fufu in order to reduce her workload of going to kitchen at the close of the day's business. None of us was able to eat the food even with the nice fresh egunsi soup. it tasted acidic.

The producers must give the cassava enough time to ferment.

Most of the things we consume has poisonous substance in one way or another. Those producing bottle and sachet water too are also guilty of adding unregulated chemicals to preserve their products. I'm allergic to any form of swallow not to talk of eating fufu. Nah
