A Nairalander In Enugu Is In Need Of Tricycle On Hire Purchase. Assist Pls. by Marsh104(m): 4:55pm On Nov 04, 2019
Guy evening everyone, I have been searching to see an opportunity for a keke hire purchase here but I have not seen any and that's why I am outing up this post.

I am based in Enugu and a family man. I had a job which went south last two months and since then I have no job. I have thought of so many things but capital to start up has been the issue coupledvwith the fact that Enugu is not business oriented. One of the few thriving business here is transportation and I have interest in tricycle (keke) business.

I will be pleased if I would be connected to anyone who will give me one on hire purchase basis. With the presence of Opay here in Enugu, I really will not disappoint anyone who invested on me.

I can be contacted on phone/whatsapp through 0.9.0.9.4.5.0.0.2.1.0.

Thank you.
Mods, pls help.

Hello my people, it's been a week since I posted about my desire to get a tricycle for transportation business on hire purchase here in Enugu. While waiting for an assistance from here, I have not rested. I kept engaging friends and welwishers for help until today I decided to take a chance. I bath and set off to an area where tricycle is sold believing that I'll meet someone who wants a rider or agent or connection through the tricycle sellers. I got yo the location (Ziks Avenue Enugu) and marched straight to a keke rider who parked by the road side waiting for a vulcanizer and enquired from him the opportunity of getting a tricycle on hire purchase. He showed me one tall guy directly opposite me, that he is the owner of the business. I went to him but hr told me that thry no longer recommend riders to their customers for some reasons. He advised me to meet one of the guys that are coupling the keke. I went and met one of the busy guys. While talking with him, one clean guy came to enquired something from him regarding keke. After they were done he asked me to go and meet the guy that he just bought two tricycles. I crossed the road immediately and went to him. I introduced myself and why I've come to him. He asked me to sit and started asking question about the business and my background. We discussed for more than an hour and finally exchanged numbers and we will be meeting tomorrow at 11am to finalize terms.

My people, today I confirmed that the only person that the only thing which can stop you is you. Today I believed that I can do it and believed in myself and it happened. I've got a job and I'm targeting at least 20k/week.

Hopefully, this gonna become a thread because I will be updating my daily activities and my growth process. My dream is to 1, live a comfortable life and provide my family needs, 2, to prove that help can come from anywhere as long as God lives and 3, to give hope to other youths like that as long as you have hands and legs and functional brain you can make it.

See you guys later!

Your vocabulary is ok and you write fine. You are straight forward on what you want. But on the other hand, I don't know why you have settled for a Keke riding job.

Your use of English is prestine and eloquent for a keke driver. You might even be more educated than the guy who owns the keke you're driving. That's the reality of the new Nigeria for you, where unemployment rate is tipping over the edge. I wish you all the best and hopefully you hit your weekly target and go on to do something more profitable. God speed bro

Hello Six11, I understand what you mean. But I want you to understand that in life hidden treasures abounds waiting to be discovered and put to use. Another is that the worst that could happen to any man is to be directed by peoples opinion. People must talk but I know I have a target and my feasibility study is showing a practicable RIO.

You said you don't know what made me to want to settle as a tricycle driver. Its simple, unemployment. I was working with a logistics company whose policies are very "cr.azy" and "de.vilish". When I couldn't take it any more, I decided to resign, not because I got a better offer, but because I know I can make things right. I've been into the logistics/transportation business and I have a strong feeling that this is my stepping stone. I am not seeing tricycle business as too poor or dirty for me because there is MONEY there and I love meeting people and interaction. If you think otherwise, then I want to br there to make it clean, reputable and honorable.

Lastly, so many Nigerian youths are out there in the street waiting for "audio" jobs while spending there saved up money, while there are a lot of little beginnings. Begging is one of the things I find difficult to do when there is an opportunity for me to make money. How will it look like if I have about 5 sound keke in my fleet in the next 3 years... Think about that.

Talk to you later bro!

Hello guys, sorry it's been while I updated you. Its because I've been busy with the business. It's booming... and it won't die as long as I need money(legit one ooo). A lot of things has happened since I started, I mean the good, bad & certainly the ugly. But the bottom line is that I am making 10k everyday with my tricycle.

I'll take out time over the weekend to give you guys analysis of how I am making it, happily and all that has happened since my last post.

See you and keep thinking... Leave FGN alone!

Hello guys, sorry it's been a whole 16 months since I updated last. It's been great since then and I thank God for the place I am today.

I was able to pay off for the keke within 10months and I took ownership since September last year. My target was to get another keke but the situation on ground on this country is opposing so many good plans. It's so craz.y that keke now sells for 820k now.

Looking at that I opted for a laundry business which I now combined with the keke transport and everything has been great.

I'll be back.
Ask me anything regarding the business and I will respond to you.

Something big is coming my way though I need a lot of prayers for Gods directive.
