Congrats to the ITA clinchers.

You need to see the kinda assumptions people were making on canada visa threads before the draw was held :

- IRCC is freezing Express Entry
- IRCC deliberately wants scores to go up
- IRCC is switching to monthly draws.
- IRCC is going to exclude some countries

These statements are nothing more than fake news but the way they say it ,you'd really think their father is Ahmed Hussein and he personally told them.

My advice is do what you can and leave the rest to God

My guess, but if that's the plan to maintain high cut off, then they should make it official so that people can rest.

I just tire.

Honestly the only thing we can do is hope n pray anything can happen it’s their program they can do what they want but don’t be negative abeg lol some people like me are living on HOPE this is our only chance we don’t have PNP opportunity or husband/ wife or sibling to increase scores... we are even lucky with above 460 imagine those below that? Wonder how they feel. All we can do is pray pray pray and hope hope hope. It will keep dropping

Hello all,

I would be glad to have your advice regarding my questions below:

My husband got his PR last year before we got married, although he is still working in Nigeria but travelled only once this year to canada.

I assume that your marriage was held after his first landing in Canada, right?

I applied for express entry and i'm expecting to receive my ITA in the coming draw, 472. I hope it's not an offense for me to have applied for express entry as my husband is obviously not accompanying me since he already has his PR? My worry is that i do not want to be rejected on the basis that he should have filed a spousal sponsorship for me which i think might be impossible since he is not fully based in canada for now.

No offense as spousal sponsorship isn't mandatory.

Like you rightly mentioned, you will be applying as spouse unaccompanying. Because he's a PR, you need to submit an loe explaining same with his PR card attached. With this, you won't be required to provide medicals and PCC for him. Click here for timelines of people who have done same and got PPR.

Secondly, My husband is gifting me about 100% of my proof of fund, which has already been transferred to me. We got a lawyer to have the gift deed notarized. However, my worry is that the lawyer requested that my husband's residential address must be specified in the gift deed document. My question is, should he put his Nigerian address (which is where he currently stays due to work) or indicate his canadian address (A relative's place where he stays whenever he lands in canada)?

Thank you as i look forward to your kind response.

The address you put makes little or no difference. You could put his Nigerian address since he resides there currently.

Congratulations on your ITA. Godspeed.

I just received my ITA, I started this journey May 2018. I finally completed my masters degree this year which took me to 475. IELTS: LWRS 8797.5. It’s surreal. I don’t believe it . I don’t know how to react

What does this even mean? ITA is determined by faith and not how high your CRS score is?

Please, I have started my ECA with WES and I have Master degree. I filled both BSc and MSc. In the WES. Should I evaluate both or just my MSc.
I wish to ask if I can use a job contract for and letter of employment as proof of employment. I will be grateful for your help.

Thanks

embarassed embarassed embarassed

I couldn't sleep, I just couldn't sleep. Sooner than later, all the people (especially, those ones still playing in God's backyard amidst other unborn kids as well as my princess charming - that I'm still hustling to find cheesy) will thank me so big one day!

I wanna say thank you to everyone (I mean, the love displayed here & the willingness of people to help out) is simply laudable. Thank you so much everyone!

I got ITA! I got ITA!! I got ITA!!! When your IQAS BSc ECA takes close to 7 months & WES MSc evaluation decided to be as lengthy as 5 months, you'd know why I'm yelling!

Congratulations to eveyone who got ITA & the very best to all the people hoping to receive theirs in the future.

# in the meantime, I go still dey come here to seek clarifications Oo. grin

You are expected to evaluate only your highest qualification which in your case is M.Sc

Hi guys how you all doing ?

I have couple of questions

1 I applied for PR via express entry / under Canada experience class. I got a passport request last week which I already Posted to Ottawa. My question does it mean I have been approved since they requested for my passport ? Because my online account still show reviewing eligibility and Checking background check

2 Pls I need the meaning to the following terms used in the forum so I can use it to compare my application :AOR, PPR,PP, PPT, COPR.

Thanks you smiley

As long as you got the passport request. You have been approved for the PR confirm.all those eligibility stuff have been concluded and will be updated after they are done with your passport and it's stated on your profile that your application is approved. So celebrate!!

Your post is misleading. ITA is to the highest CRS. It's stated right there on the site.

Hello seniors,

Please we need your expert advice; my wife and I are waiting on PPR, our AOR was July 2nd 2019 (we narrowly got ITA by 1 point); but we just had a baby 3 weeks ago. The baby is Canadian as we travelled to give birth to her in Canada. How can we go about updating this new information on our application as the baby does not require any permanent residency since she's already a 1st generation Canadian with a valid passport? Does this affect our scores as at ITA? Do we also need to submit a new PoF that reflects enough money for the third family member?

It’s nice to help but you should only give out information that you’re sure of. There has been no mention of expiration period for work reference letters on CIC website or even on this thread. Please edit your post.

I have personally responded to this check my post on page 121, anyways all you need is to notify IRCC, follow the instructions from them which might be updated POF for new addition to the family, nothing affects your point of invitation round.

.
Raise a cse, tell them about the new addition to the family and explain she has a Canadian passport , u will need to upload an updated proof of funds as well as ur baby's passport. It won't affect ur scores.
