Any time I imagine that either Yahaya or Wada would still become the governor of the state, I shed tears for that state. Kogi from it's creation has been the most unfortunate in Nigeria. It's been from one bad leader to the other 5 Likes |

ImmaculateJOE:There is no such thing like indigenous Igbo's in Ankpa local government. Ankpa shares no common boundary with neither Enugu nor Anambra. The three local governments with boundaries with Igbo's are Ibaji, Olamaboro and Igalamela local governments respectively. 1 Like 1 Share |

All arguments here are credible but most are based on a false premise which is the belief that the election will be free and fair. Believing that under this apc/INEC alliance will be a mirage. Governor Bello should be the worst governor since the creation of Nigeria and under normal circumstances, no Sane person will vote apc. 3 Likes 1 Share |

It is a shame dt Yahaya Bello wants to contest again despite his poor performance but bliv you me, he will win because people will still vote for him as small as 5 thousand naira n with d help of Federal might n thereby continue to suffer. The people dt vote d most in Nigeria are d poor, tout, market women/men etc n most of these people re prone to sell their civic right owing to foolishness n greed. If APC by Oyetola, despite d poor performance of Aregbusola could win Osun State then anything is possible in Nigeria. The question is this: are d Kogis ready 4 change or ready to remain in poverty? if they are ready 4 change, then even if PMB moves Aso rock to Lokoja, 1000 Yahala Bello will lose because it takes a fair number of d Kogis to compromise their conscience 4 rigging to be successful. 1 Like 1 Share |

https://www.nairaland.com/post/84002139 Nigeria has never had a free and fair elections since independence. It will amount to unmitigated illusions to expect "holy election" on Saturday. Stop banding emotional figures because you want your tribesman to emerge. If you are quick to mention how northern nigeria vote their own, also remember that they voted OBJ at the expense of PMB/Atiku, GEJ at the expense of PMB. The same north also shows magnanimity, by allowing other tribe like yoruba and Ijaw to take the seat of power, even when they have about 60% of vote to retain such power as it pleases them. Politics is not about tribe, it's an interest driven tussle. If I may ask, how many years has igala spent on that seat? How haa it impacted on you and your community? Go and tell your people to be less greedy. In sha Allah, the return of GYB is sacrosanct. 1 Like |
