These November deals are fast becoming a global phenomenon and the majority of us have termed it the month for Black Friday deals. these November deals are increasingly becoming a month-long event for some retail stores like Jumia Black Friday, ShopRite Lowest Price, Konga etc.

My point is with so many deals from so many different retailers, it can be tricky to know how best to prepare for Black Friday, but I believe with this, it should not be much of a big deal.

1. Make A Wishlist
Your wishlist doesn't have to be retailer-specific - just have an idea of what you're looking to buy in November. Let's take for example, November is close to Christmas and seeing that rice is the most sort after food, but the price has been off the charts, we can make a list of things that can best replace it in preparation of the festive period and take advantage of any retail outlet giving out discounts.

2. Make Your Research
It's never a good idea to splash your cash without making your research, and the same goes for Black Friday deals - it's imperative that you know exactly what you're looking for so that you spend wisely.

3. Make a Budget and Stand By It
There will be loads of mouth watery discounts over the November Black Friday deals, and it's easy to fall prey of buying things for the sake of it - that's why it's a good idea to set aside a yourself a budget for yourself, whether you plan on buying one product or many.

If you do plan on spending a substantial amount of money this year, it's worth setting aside a little bit each week - after all, Black Friday falls at an odd time this year, so you might accidentally get caught short, budget-wise, if you're not smart and know precisely how much to spend.

Whatever you do, don't splurge all your cash in the sales if you've just been paid... December can be an expensive month already so don't go into it with your reserves depleted.

With this being said, I would like to know of any retail outlet offering discounts on food and beverages since the price of rice is not going down any time soon, your suggestion will go a long way into helping me plan ahead for the festivities
