Mine was importation, The mistake I made was not handling the business myself and I have no physical outlet, I rely on online market to sell those goods , The money was tied down for like 7months then I take the goods to computer village where Igbo boys started giving price that’s not up to 5 percent of the amount I buy the product, Atlast I stop importing and divited into something else.

I'm considering mini importation but do not know how viable it is considering that ordered goods often arrive very late and I am using my last cash to venture into it

Importation is not for small scale entrepreneurs, It can favour you if only you have the shop to display it or you re not in Nigeria, If you re investing millions, if might work for you as you will be selling in bulk and giving discounts to customers and that will help your business grow, But if you re investing below 500k without having a shop to showcase it that will help the online sells, kindly stay off, It doesn't work for me Dont mean it won't work for you , you can try it .

Lollz
The 100k is just enough.
If you know where to look , you'll get a fairly used bike that will serve you well for 80k.

Importation biz is sweet, if you can market your goods wella.
Buy quality stuffs that people around you need or will love to have.
Start by importing in small qty, like 10 pieces.
Factor in your shipping amount and how much you plan to sell, so you don't import things that's cheaper in the market!
Buy unique stuffs, don't buy things that are ubiquitous.

You can even use pictures of what you want to import to show to few people around you to see if they'll show interest.

Bro, this is totally incorrect.

If anyone is going to any business, to minimize their risk, he/she should HAVE & FOLLOW A MENTOR! I do not have ANY OFFLINE SHOP and I sell everything I import from China purely ONLINE (FACEBOOK & INSTAGRAM)....

Thank you!

The screenshots are just few out of several other campaigns I set up to sell products online.. No business is easy.

Recharge and get paid? I doubt if it is real and viable

It's normal to doubt any online business in Nigeria so I understand.
Message me if you're interested anyway

You can’t make it with small scale importation, The fact is shipping cost and customs charges is enough to kill your business, Example you import 10 commodities and you re expecting 5k profit on each, So shipping alone drain like 3k as per calculation, So you think 20k that will be make for seven month on your importation is worth the stress, Your money will be tied down, If you even make that 20k you should be thanking God, If you can’t show your commodity in a place where people can see you and back it up with online store, you re down already , don’t let someone deceive you I have been there before, Not even this Buhari Era when everyone is ready to price thing to the lowest price, If you re not patient enough you will kill somebody because people will provoke you with worthless price, If you re starting with millions then it’s making sense. 2000 x 1000 pieces of commodities 2million profit, so keep your 500 thousand in peace, Don’t let scammers scam you, importation is not small scales talking from experience

Look for a bike mechanic around you or even an okada rider and tell him you need a second hand bike, they are usually the first to know when anyone wants to sell their bike. You should get a feedback in less than three weeks.

If you have no knowledge of bikes I'll advice you to look for someone who does cos there are really bad bikes out there. Even if you have to pay them a stipend to help you inspect it.
The person would be able to tell how much the bike is really worth, and most importantly save you from buying a bike that would be giving you troubles all the time.

First thing first.

Business was Set up with proceeds from reaping where I had never sown a.k.a yahoo yahoo or online scams.

I littered the roads with TRUCKS as a 24 year old and was going to give Dangote a good run for his money or so I had thought. Some of my thieving pals were already nicking me Dangote my head dey swell.

Na when trucks begin scatter people cars for road, I dey buy car replace dey pay for hospital bills and burial then manager and drivers begin thief me back I come know say na Gotedan I don become. Had to run to save my young life first by truly repenting and seeking a new life.

Deep down on the inside of me sometimes, I even feel sorry for my 7 siblings I had seen through the university with the shitty proceeds. It is that bad and regrettable but mercy is all I pray for on a daily.

Busy re-writing a book on my life and experiences.

Now, I am an advocate against this and other vices. Experience is my teacher.

Heck no way I could have earned a happy living off from a business set up from causing other people anguish and pains.

I am glad the business failed now that I know better.
