Senator Sabi Abdullai and Sani Musa are both sponsors of hate bill speech and anti social media bill respectively. in Nigeria, its only the government of the day that can tell which one is hate speech or not. they can always use that to hunt anyone/opposition down. It is highly draconian, uncalled for and uncouth of any sensitive and sensible government to consider the hate speech bill. Our government seems to only care about teething issues while leaving ginormous issues of national and monumental importance. The senate should be mindful of this appalling hate speech bill religiously, before the country becomes a jungle. |
