No, EFCC isn't playing anything, he is just wasting his time and money. That's what lawyers do. They will keep pushing him so they can get their own share of his ill-gotten wealth.

Efcc will arrest you without a concrete reason for your arrest.

Any one who denies this story should ask Naira Marley, up till now Efcc has no case against him, but he was arrested and paraded on social media as a yahoo boy

He prayed the court to order the EFCC to either immediately charge him to court or release him if it was not ready to charge him to court.

Mr Oyewole said his client, as a Nigerian, was entitled to the protection of his fundamental rights under sections 34, 35 and 36 of the 1999 constitution.

According to him, the court order to keep Mompha had since expired and he ought to be released.

A date is yet to be fixed for hearing of the case.

The EFCC in late October arrested a Lebanese and two other suspected accomplices of Mompha.

Hamza Koudeih was arrested after a three-hour stand-off at his N1.8 billion luxury apartment in the 33-storey Eko Atlantic Pearl Tower, Victoria Island, Lagos.

A lot of you type without thinking and that includes all those who liked your comment.

Do you not know that a lot of clandestine activities go on in agencies like the EFCC? Do you know how many clandestine deals happen even with the FBI, CIA or even Interpol?

The fact that Interpol is aware of Mompha and his activities and worked closely with EFCC to have him arrested should count for something.

The fact that a partner of Mompha who was able to "calmly" rent an apartment for over 1.8b annually and for Mompha to be aggressively flaunting his illicit gains brazenly for all to see shows there are much bigger fish than Mompha involved in this.

Even if EFCC decides to act a drama and use this court case to get him bailed should it not tell you that freeing him can enable him unknowingly lead them to others who are much bigger than him and are involved in this?

Not everything is open for public scrutiny when it comes to agencies like EFCC . Same way not everything is open for public scrutiny when it comes to agencies like FBI, CIA and Interpol and indeed any other agency like those in any country in the world.
