The maximum length of time you can detain anyone without trial is 2 years. This is what is capitalizing on. But we know the country we are living in. May God help us all.

I hope this is not one of EFCC's stunts to finally release this guy?

I hope they won't finally hide under one yeye court order to let him go?

Till then anyways, we will remind them how we have never obeyed court order in Naija before.

undecided

They have nothing against him

They should release him if they won't take him to court .

So many Nigerians are languishing in Nigerian prisons for years without trial...
This madness has to stop .

This are issues Aregbeshola should look into .

BINGO. Per international human rights organization, NIgeria has so many people in prisons who have never been convicted.
Also, it has people who have served sentences who have never been released.
Lazy people.

EFCC only arrested this guy for celebrity stunt if truly the FBI are involved in this case they would have released an official statement and extradited him. Yeye Dey smell you arrested him without any evidence to prove he’s into scam. Dumb scull officials

Newboss:

Which behest of Interpol? Interpol arrested him on behalf of EFCC. It's not hard to figure out. There's Interpol in Dubai. It would have been easier to arrest him in Dubai and move him directly to any country without going through the unnecessary bureaucracy.

EFCC is behind this, not Interpol. Except Interpol made a mistake of arresting him in Nigeria.

There is no extradition treaty in Dubai. Trying to extradite out of Dubai is almost impossible.
