it's not the CBN. It's a directive from president Buhari and his cohorts.

The way there are charging everything, I began to suspect Tinubu has hand it based on the way he rules Lagos and few months ago, someone nairaland buttress it unknowingly THAT Tinubu has hand in it.

I thanked him for revealing what I have always had in mind and he demanded for a reason but I didn't reply beyond that.

APC came for revenge

That is falsehood and fake news else you provide the directive from Buhari to that effect?

Assuming that to be true, Godwin Emeifele must be daft to comply to it.

Emeifele brought back the N65 charge on withdrawal from other banks ATM when GEJ appointed him.

Now he charging N50 on POS transaction.

Where is the Buhari directive in it?

APC government is a cursed to this country. Every good thing must be destroyed, Why?

Now they want to shut down Uber in Abuja . They've shut down Keke in FCT with no alternative for the masses and they're now disturbing Uber drivers too.

When they claim they will create 100m jobs I wonder how

Destroy existing job opportunities, reintroduce them 2 years later as a novel idea, the people have short term memory, they will praise us, government has created new jobs.

Let me refresh your memory before you continue spreading fake news.

Sanusi as CBN Governor introduced it then but it was suspended till GEJ sacked him. When Emeifele was appointed by same Government, he re-introduced charge which is still in effect till date.

My question still remains same, where is PMB and cohorts in this?

Proactive response from the masses to senseless, poorly thought-out directives.

How do you encourage cashless policy then in one full swoop, all of a sudden, discourage it with this kind of policy? What kind of country is Nigeria?
The APC's initial intention was to cause confusion in the country if PDP had won the 2015 general election, but (un)fortunately God used GEJ to give them the power and they had it on a gold platter. That's why they're all confused. No focus, no direction, no human feeling in their administration. Everybody is crying. God have on innocent Nigerians.

That’s why I tell people to switch to palmpay,Palmpay is a mobile payment app.
That rewards you for every transaction you make using the app.
Ordinarily banks charge N50 for transactions but using palmpay to make transactions we charge only N10.
Also with palmpay you can buy data and airtime, for your first 10 transactions in a month you get 10% cash back.
Also for utilities e.g light bill and water bill. you get 5% cash backs for your first 10 transaction in a month.
You can pay for Internet subscription e.g smile, spectranet, etc.
And also for cable subscription as well DSTV,GOtv.

And the joy of it all is that the more you make transactions and gain points you can use the points to offset 50% of your transactions.

Just send me a PM if you want to become an agent for no charge. TOTALLY FREE

wanted to collect one (pos) so I went to uba to ask for one, because I too wanted to start the lucrative business, less did I know the cumbersomeness of the work, come and see what the bank customer care listed for me to do

1.register with cac(corporate affairs commission)
2.must get a shop
3. must have target and customers

I was perplexed, no wonder most Nigerian startup businesses are dead on arrival!!!

but they said that bank pos are better than interswitch owns sha!!!!

The only economic plan Apc has is tax, double tax, Tripple tax and then increase vat. That is their level and capacity. Robbing Peter to paul.

They do not have the capacity to improve the economy using other financial or investment strategies or opening up the business community. Hence their love for draconian policies with the excuses of using it for the good of the people.

Well said. I now use cash too.

No drama!

JimohMomoh:
I have stopped using Pos for almost a month. I now use cash, especially N1k notes whenever I make transaction in supermarkets, filling station and hotels.
The money saved is enough for me to load recharge card with USSD code on my phone.

Herdsmen don't pay tax but FG is giving them free land for RUGA.
