I don't know about him but I live in DC. I Came to see a friend in Laurel. I do come to Laurel often, it's cheaper to shop there especially clothing.

You're gonna need some heavy coats with hoods, gloves, scarves, etc., to endure the cold up there.
All I can tell you is to try and keep warm cause it's gonna be quite cold!

If someone had told me a month ago, that I would be leaving Nigeria for USA, I would have considered it a very expensive joke.
Following our successful visa interview, feels right to inform this amazing Nairaland family that my family and I have finally touched down Washington DC. This would be our new home for now.
Feels refreshing to eventually leave Nigeria for good.

It"s freezing cold here, would keep tabs of my daily experiences here in the USA on this thread, but before that, tips on how to survive this chill would most importantly be appreciated.
