The sponsor of the very controversial 'hate speech' bill has said the death penalty part will be amended. According to TheCable, Aliyu Abdullahi, sponsor of the bill seeking to check hate speech, says the death penalty aspect will be amended in line with the wish of Nigerians. Abdullahi said this in a statement issued in Abuja on Sunday. He said the bill will undergo some fine-tuning to reflect the views of Nigerians. He added that the senate will accept contributions and input by critics and supporters of the bill, saying such will go a long way in giving Nigerians the law to address the disturbing trend of hate speech. That bill should be SCRAPPED TOTALLY and be replaced with death sentence for corrupt politicians!!! In a developed country, the members of his community would have visited the sponsor of that bill with lighter, kerosene and if possible add fuel  We are too lenient with these thieves cum wicked leaders!
