This came to light after a concerned citizen reached out to a human right group (Behind Bars Right Initiative) and tipped them of the situation of the little house help. They acted immediately, saved the maid and then took her to Amaku General Hospital, Awka where she is currently receiving treatment.

Sorry, but why are eastern women this wicked? If you think I am lying check it. Most maid abuse are from Eastern women, I work with an NGO and the stats show this. Something really needs to be done. Maids are human too.

This is not the first neither would it be the last case we'll know about a house wife being cruel to her maid. When it comes to domestic violence and child abuse, women takes the cake

Sometimes I just wonder why some women display acts of wickedness towards house-helps and those who are not their biological children that stay with them. That woman should be made to serve very long prison sentence - not less than 25 years.

I don't know how some women do this to a child. Same woman will cry DV is a quarter of this is done to her by the husband. There should be stiffer punishments for perpetrators of this crime.
