Are they in secondary school? What discipline do they need that shouldn't have been given from home or secondary school?
What's the difference between what they did and assault?
If the lady in question were to be your sibling, you might even ask them to be thrown in jail if you are powerful enough. It's in the school's rule book. There's no offense without its repercussion, a society without laws breeds ground for anarchy.
If they were given a lesser punishment, they are still the ones that will be flaunting... What is bad is bad? There are no two ways about it

According to Sahara reporters, the victim was calling them "runs girls" and so they decided to descend on her. I am sure she would have learnt to mind her business. However, this is not to justify the actions of the assaulters. They deserved to be punished.

Yes one full academic year of suspension should be enough. Not expulsion from the University.

Most of the students who were expelled do not go back home, rather they stay around to join cult, steal, rape and look for every means to cause problem in the society.
