Please I need to know how to use Github though I am not safe with open source projects I want to try and start making open source projects to build my portfolio.

git status
git add .
git commit -m"your commit message here"
git push origin master

These are few commands you will be using with github, go to google and search for git tutorials, might be confusing at first but it;s very easy to use from the command-line using few commands like the one above. youtube videos are there for you too, you are limited by your ability to research about it and learn.

But when working in a team, then you,ll see the other side of git wey go show u pepper e.g

git rebase, git bisect, git fetch, git stash, git reset, git commit --amend, git log, git diff, etc

if you have time and a few MB for a video call, I can take you on a round trip in Git to kickstart and build your confidence.
