How can u value school wen ur parents are uneducated

How can u value school wen ur father is in prison and ur mother who earns a minimum wage is left alone to train u.

How many poor Nigerians like school?

U can only comment on the challenges facing black Americans wen u have enough information on their problems they face

Let me assume u are Yoruba, And the 40 million yorubas in Nigeria own 2% of Nigerian wealth and Hausa n IGBO owns 97%.......Where do u think u and ur tribes men would end up in this society?

Who told you I don't have enough info? Do you know me personally to arrive at such conclusion?

Just seeing the extended had ghlighta of Liile vs Ajax now.

Osimhen is a beast and is bigger than Lille. I'm not saying this because I'm Nigerian but abeg, the boy na baller.

His fellow attackers are crap. They missed some clear cut chances yesterday. I hope a better club notices Osimhen's hard work and comes for him.

it's not my first time watching their match even against minors. They are piss poor and a very unambitious team. Not even one chance was crrated for Victor Osimhen in the whole duration. The poor boy was busy hustling and even when he sets up his team mates, they waste it. They hold on to ball foolishly and can't even read simple moves. Lile is a very poor team, that's my submission!

They are all Carpenters... Infact, full definition of Chief Carpentry

I was seething all through the game last night.. They couldn't even hold possession. Just chasing the ball and running around the pitch like headless chicks

Terrible

I hope Osimehen leaves them for good

Generalization is part of human nature to an extent.

I don't go out enough times to meet a lot of people, and the things I see cause me to be cautious and reserved. I don't doubt there are amazing people out there, I just don't feel confident enough that I will ever find these people.

It will be a miracle finding the ‘right kind’ of people only through online interaction.

You might be awed by a Mourihno or Neville kind of online posters who knows his football in and out but would be less impressed when you meet them offline.
Nothing beats physical interaction aka going out there and meeting people.
A Denzel Washington character you meet online might turn out to be a Mr Jaguar or Ibu...apologies to these Nollywood legends.

The ones you might criticise or get irritated of by their supposedly lack of knowledge in areas that you are knowledgeable and versed or those that might annoy you by their grammars might be the ones that you find really attracted to ‘outside of the keyboard’

Someone that I know swore that he’d never have anything to do with short girls. He crushed on and dated Kate Henshaws kind of women...His wedding was last October and his wife narrowly escaped dwarfism.

Even Mr Cork of Nairaland might end up with the darkest Southern Sudanese girl.

Go out there and socialise. Worrying about dangers or all sorts of ills out there isn’t healthy. A little bit of risk will change your life.

They are not really carpenters, Ikone, Bamba, Yacizi, Soumare, Renato Sanches are good dribblers but they still play like kids choosing to dribble instead of passing to the nearest teammate

When last did any Scottish team play in the UEFA Championship league? The Serbia league representative played there last season and is currently in the group stage this season.

Don't forget a Serbian club beat the current UEFA Champions 2 goals to nut last season. Can any Scottish team do that currently?

Partizan has only lost to Manchester United in the group. The other two games ended victorious or draw. Nothing like generally poor as you portrayed. The same Partizan reached the round of 32 in the Europa League two seasons ago. When last did Rangers crossed the group stage? About 7 or 8 season ago?

The UEFA coefficient rating that placed Partizan ahead of Rangers is an indication of both teams performance in Europe.

If I go by your comment without going into full details, then Sadiq has played 122 games, scored 71 goals and assisted 25 times in the last 6 years. How about that?

The Role model striker.....

in his voice grin "Tega" has

190 apps, 94 goals and 24 assists

goal-assist ratio

Umar....
Goal per game, 0.58
Goal/assist per game, 0.78

Tamaraebi...
Goal per game, 0.49
Goal/assist per game, 0.62

i had to save us the stress o.

Yes, Tammy had been playing in the "toughest" league, while Umar plays in "farmers" league. But also, Umar doesn't have the caliber of teammates Tammy had to begin with, if he had, he'd have even churned up better rates.

Now, i'm waiting for his defense undecided undecided undecided undecided undecided

I hold physical interaction higher than anything else. Aside Nairaland, I don't use other forms of social media, and I find them insufficient.

Time and chance have not met me to socialize. I don't like to go out a lot and I am not positioned in a place that will allow me go out a lot, I have plans to socialize eventually, but since I have social anxiety, that can be difficult for the most part.

I'm enjoying the great discuss here to be honest, Im now seeing a different picture... Offcourse I don't like south africans, but if we look deeper, most of thier issues bore down to being enslaved in their own country...

Like one poster say here, e.g if the yoruba had just 2 percent of the country wealths, then they would be on lowest on the ladder...

I now feel pity for AA men and women... It's not easy on the other side...

Peter Olayinka was picked as the best player on the Slavia Prague team that lost 3-1 to Inter Milan in a Champions League clash at Eden Arena - Prague on Wednesday night.

The one-cap Nigeria international gave a good account of himself as Slavia Prague exited the Champions League with one game yet to be played.

The highlight of his performance was winning a penalty for the Czech Republic team, which was converted by Tomas Soucek in the 37th minute.

Former Manchester United and Chelsea striker Romelu Lukaku thought he had doubled Inter's advantage ten minutes before half-time but after reviewing the situation, the referee announced that the goal was revoked due to a previously committed foul by Stefan de Vrij.

With a rating of 7 out of a possible 10 marks, Olayinka received the joint highest mark along with Tomas Soucek in the player ratings done by Sport, according to UEFA's official webpage.

On Olayinka, Sport wrote : ''He tirelessly ran, pressing the defenders and winning the ball several times. He also won the penalty and was the stand-out Slavia player yesterday."

This season, Olayinka has found the net on six occasions from 22 appearances in all competitions., including his strike vs Inter Milan on matchday one.

Every sincere person knows "submissive" is a pseudonym for let the woman look the other way when I cheat and generally accept (no scratch that) shovel and enjoy their BS in the name of happy successful marriage.

As much as we leave in a patriarch society us men have to do better especially black man. white men generally treat their women with respect why do you think the feminist movement gained traction in the western society if not for the support of men. here in nigeria i can barely think of any culture that highly venerates women. even the thing about igbo men taking care of their women is an extension of their ego that yes i'm capable as a man not in a 'oh i love this woman so much i can do anything for her' kind of way most times

i respect aspects of the feminist movement but the misandry, male hating wing is something that rubs me up the wrong way i won't lie. Powerful and influential women like Hillary Clinton, Michelle Obama, Theresa May and Angela Merkel respect and love the men in their lives but sorry to say some psycho women will carry the movement like ''kpom kpom'' on their head trying to destroy and belittle good societal values.

Bottom line is black men especially do better to raise responsible and respectful men who will treat women well. While black women should continue to fight the good cause of justice, equity and equality without bringing in some stupid arguments that muddle the waters

safarigirl:
thank you, Joebie.

So many Nigerian men want to be worshipped by their women, but don't want to worship their women.

They keep talking of what a woman should do, but have conveniently left out the man's part. Just yesterday, I read a thread by a divorce lawyer in Nigeria, a man at that, and he came to the conclusion that women in Nigeria are going through hell, disguised as marriage.

Nigerian men are scared of feminism because it means women have started having sense to call them out on their BS, it means more women are crawling out of abusive homes. It means they can't step all over their wives like their fathers stepped all over their mothers. The idea that women have rights at all, even less equal ones, disturbs them greatly. They will come here and tell you those aren't their fears and base it all on culture and tradition; a tradition that demeans women and treats them as lesser beings, especially the Igbo ones. Tradition that cut daughters off their fathers inheritance on the excuse that they will take it to their husband's house, as if on the average, women are not more likely to take care of aged parents than men.

But it is not the fault of the men, you cannot give what you don't have. It is society that made us all the way we are, and it is the same society that we mustt reconstruct. Change is constant and even cultures and traditions are subject to change. The inheritance law has been struck out and there will be more to come with time. We move

Good morning smiley

I been thinking, here we clamour for better livinv cuz we lack the basics, light, water, roads, blah blah, but all these could be improved on with a sincere and good leadership, I mean we won't be shouting up nepa up and down for life, right?

But on the other side, I have no idea 'first hand' what they going through, cuz I have never been racially abused nor is any of my close people, but I read things and the nearest I could relate with is xenophobia from southi, eg southi got light, good roads and all the other blah blah we lack, my question is for southis and AA men, what's the succour for them, I mean is this how they will be forever sidelined in history and future

Is there any hope for them at all

He got humiliated and badly beaten for it, he washed it's feet. The man get a bigger role to play but no we rather focus on submission and totally neglect our responsibility. Forgetting that when Christ died for the church, the church did not submit to him, and never gave him any respect. God is not the religion. Religion is Christianity, Islam, Buddhism, those are religions. When I say I am not religious, I mean I am not a fanatic. So, when I do things I don't base it on the teachings of any religious books for the most part.

I did not say I am an atheist, I just said I am not religious.
