i am not saying vardy should be dropped but can be subbed off for nacho when they are comfortably winning a game

Joebie:
Vardy is massive. You can't bench Vardy. But Nacho can still do his thing if he is given consistent cameo opportunities or of course in a two-prong attack.

Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2023, 2025 And 2026 World Cup by Joebie: 7:44pm On Dec 01, 2019
In a 3-5-2, we can always have two strikers. I think SE needs 4 SOLID strikers. The aforementioned are good to go as the situation stands at the moment.

ChrisKels:
Please permit me to draw my list of eagles strikers, in my own order of preference.

The tricky thing about Vardy is he can be dangerous anytime.. Did you not see that moment when he went behind a defender to plant a header which only missed by whiskers? Very clever and unpredictable striker. But yes like you pointed out he should be subbed off sometimes when Leicester are comfortably ahead.

lol.. of course he would have to maintain this performance. One assist or goal here and there would do.. The bar is not set too high.

Iheanacho came on and completely changed the game.

The boy still has it and he is hungry.. All that time on the bench has increased his hunger.

Yes.. That's what you get in a system that don't pamper players. When you get the chance, show up and you will get more chances. We want the same thing from Issac Success -- HUNGER. These players have it, but they have to want success badly.

He will get more chances. Even if he gets a few assist and goals in the EPL, that's good enough compared to what our other strikers are doing right now.

dessers wetin? put nacho in heracles team and he will give you 20 goals a season

Iheanacho isn't as rugged as Dessers hence, he will find it difficult getting numbers similar to what Dessers has now for Heracle. Iheanacho needs good players behind him to supply him with good passes to finish. To be a top scorer in the Eredivisie, ahead of strikers from more prominent clubs like Feyenord, PSV, Ajax and even Vittesse, while playing for a small club like Heracles no be beans. If Dessers could do this at Heracles, then imagine what he would do with Ziyech, Van Dee Beek and Tadic around him, if he was with Ajax

how well did dessers fare in the colors of utrecht? that your dessers no fit measure up with the best in top leagues and i am not wowed with his performance so far.

no disrespect to him and i must confess his stats are mind blowing this season but he is doing that in a mickey mouse league and club. i will only take him serious if he joins one of the big teams in dutch football or any team in one of the top leagues and sustain his form.

heracles abi na wetin na club?

Well yes. I think realistically we have 2 available slots in the #9 position.
We cannot cap Dessers overnight.

If players like Simy and Onuachu struggle under Rorh's style of play, Sadiq Umar might as well.
How many more pure #9 are we left with? I think a two-prong attack will favor Iheanacho more.

The problem with our players sometimes is that they start earning a few thousand pounds and they think, they have arrived and lose the hunger and passion for the game.

Iheanacho looked a lot like the Kelechi of old. He needs to keep up the flame whenever he gets the chance.

Kelechi Iheanacho the most loved Nigerian player. Trust me, everyone on this thread will be happy!

That goal reminds us that he still got the touch. Nice movement, great control and perfect finish!

3goals in 3games. Is he back? Only time will tell. But e don tey wey nacho score EPL goal.

I still want him out of Leicester, if they ain't gonna give him enough opportunities Bkus of the obsession with Vardy.

They insane at Whoscored. Richalson man of the match. For real Our Nacho even managed a 7.3 Ndidi deserves more than a 7.8, who noticed he was so creative and fun to watch today?
