According to THE, CU has 0% international students and UI has 1%. Although, I don't know them by their names, it still shows more international students prefer UI. I'm aware of this but would still choose international exposure for my kids above anything else. The exposure Unilag gave opened my eyes to see the possibility of what could be abroad.
And how much do the Intl student pay in UI?

The exposure unilag gave you must be a cold room one or cold bottle of small stout exposure....

For you to be talking about some phantom and intangible exposure like this, I want to assume you are willing to tell us more about these exposure.

To have assumed it's phantom and intangible, what a complete waste of precious time it would be trying to make sense to you.

Since, as you choose to believe, CU hosts every good thing of life, then so be it. I don't have the energy to further flog this dead issue. I might just be interested in another.

Exactly. The way you push cold room leaves more to be imagined. There's absolutely more to it than meets the eye.

Your exposure remains phantom and intangible as long as you cannot speak of what you are proud of.
May be you aren't so proud of the details of your unilag exposure after all.
Plus let's set it straight here. I never brag about CU. If I did, please sample it.

Again, if it were yesterday we had this conversation, I would have taken out time to paint a picture in your memory which obviously would be a waste of time anyways, I'd still have gone ahead.

I'll wish, at this point, to allow you imagine the not-so-to-be-proud-of scenes of my experiences at Unilag as you wish to believe, if it makes you feel any better.

No time to paint picture but enough time to discuss all these.

Maybe we should talk more about the way you pushed "covenant university boy" as your reaction to my mentioning the fact that the contractor once worked for CU - a fact that was on the OP.

Don't be petty. I've left that discussion for another day. Unlike you, discussing university education is a mood. When I choose to, I take my time to do so. I'm quite sure we'll have this discussion on a fresh page of another thread. Be patient.

University education ?

This is more about construction and corruption in public university system. Stop diverting from your initial directions man. Just go ahead and state your cause. I understand clearly you have been following me even before registering on Nairaland. That brings us to the sensible question of your true identity.

Again, this year, University of Lagos has performed a bit below expectation. It has consistently produced the highest number of first class graduands from the law school for about 6 years and that's verifiable. The same Babcock University that has produced 10 this year produced only 4 last year when Unilag produced 20. Even ABUAD that made 12 last year now has half of it this year. Consistency, as unilag has been until now, is what sets the institution apart. Let's see how consistent Babcock would be.

I'm surprised that suddenly, ranking doesn't mean much to you, HigherEd, whose entire online presence has been about digging deep, searching which recent ranking puts CU as the best in the world. NUC, our own most reputable commission insisted that UNILAG is the only university in the country with the full accreditation of law, and by virtue of that, best in the Nigeria for law. This same university, UNILAG, is said to be among the top 1000 universities in the world, ranked by one of your best ranking outlets, THE. Are you insinuating now that a Babcock somewhere is so spectacular and beats other universities to it?

I'm particularly concerned about the misinformation fed to the public by generalizing the fortune of the entire private university community by the success of a few. Because Babcock has produced its highest ever first class in law school does mean all private universities are now exceptional at law. Many of them have no business offering advanced university course. They would serve better as event tutorial or event centres.

Talking about scandal, i still yet to understand why the university chose to expel the lady if it didn't rock the university boat as a scandal. We don't have to deny that Babcock, as well as CU, is well far away from what could be considered a liberal school as Stanford,Harvard and Unilag. It allegedly built its foundation on the solid rock of moral decency and appear to itself as the moral compass other schools should point at. If for such school, the news isn't a scandal, then scandal has no business in the dictionary.
One dumb comment after another. So unilag is liberal to you. This your association with unilag, I hope it is real to start with. I hope it isn't an attempt to build another online reputation different from the ones you used to study my posts and called me "cu boy".

You attach too much significance to your online identity which is your business and is fine. My identity as well is my business.
And if you mistake it for anyone else's, that would still be your business.

If you have anything to contribute as regards the topic, do so diligently and move on. Going back and forth on this ridiculous issue is exhausting and to this end, I'll cease to reply you since your responses have stopped being constructive.

O ... you also noticed his stalking attitude? Thought I was on it alone o. Dude registered on 23 Nov which less than a week to the day he called me "covenant university boy".

There are many of them on Nairaland like that. Dude even try start convo about jobs by asking me about oil job. Do you ask a man in say sokoto or jigawa about oil jobs out of the blue? Never because they only have groundnut oil there. That dude must know or at least have one or two things/opinion about my physical location as well. Amateur stalker he is.

I'm terribly sorry for you. Until this time, I thought you're a young, smart chap that can have an intelligent conversation and end it there. The way you wail over this one is beyond me.

Of course, I've always known you to be more of a noise maker and an emotion driven young man than being constructive as HigherEd. I have only never thought you can be this low. I've been an active member of nairaland since God knows when and I have never claimed to be a new member. I can mention a couple of monikers, matching them against what interest them the most on this forum. Can that be a crime?

You got tagged 'Covenant University Boy' which you subconsciously bear and anyone who might have come across a comment of yours or two would agree you're known for, and all hell is let loose?

You're pretty amazing, you know? Ordinarily, with your level of education, one would think sarcasm, satire and pun are what, by now, should appeal to you in articles or online comments as the case may be but it's rather surprising you know next to nothing.

Anyways, I'll spare this time out of generosity and good heart to spell it out completely to you. For my comment that asked if you work in an oil company, it was preceded by my observation that you have only replied a couple of my previous comments at the middle of the night. It would have been ridiculous and an attempt to embarrass you if I had assumed it was because you didn't have internet subscription during the day and was often on midnight sub. I decided to be nicer and assume a better scenario, which was purely out of humour, that maybe you eventually got a job and now work with an oil company. That must be a time consuming job and hasn't given you enough time during the day to reply my messages bordering on CU which, by default, triggers your fingers to write epistles. Go back and read it again, this time, careful and with a sense of responsibility and not with undue emotions and rush in your system to fight an enemy. That was my only crime.

I'll wish to know your gender because I can't assume anymore that you're male. Your nagging attitude is +1. If you can be this possessive online and wouldn't stop reasoning like an high school student, how then would people around you cope? What if I were even a stalker, why should that bother you this much on a faceless online forum.

I'm not usually this patient. I would have blocked you far too long ago if nairaland had the feature. I'll avoid you henceforth, you're a rare breed I can't deal with.

You are funny. Let me explain why UI has international students.
These international students are studying Yoruba Language, Igbo or Hausa. The very courses private universities wouldn't offer. No white person is going to come here to study medicine or engineering for now.

The is clearly an attempt to save face. I have been able to reveal my previous user accounts to other users for clarity sake and wonder what is holding you from doing same.

You would rather attack me with emotional epistles you like to accuse me of than do the simple and reasonable thing by properly introducing yourself.

I hope your aren't one of my previous stalker here on Nairaland ( I know I have few of them i know for real )
For example the other user you mentioned in your post I am replying to now knows my previous moniker and I believe I know his (even though it had been deactivated). That's how life goes for me and not all these hide and seek trash I am getting from you. You spend the precious time you don't have replying whenever you want to digress but haven't had the 5 minutes required to introduce yourself. I find that malicious.
And by the way, I think you are the emotional one here. Read my comments you to replied initially and realize there is not associating anyone to any school in it. May be the insecurity of public vs private is eating you up, definitely not me.

As for the last part of blocking me, please go ahead and just ignore me henceforth. I don't mean to start another round of your indirect posts or some insults. Just felt you needed to know some of my sharable opinion about this post. Thanks.

Honestly, I wouldn't read through this piece of balderdash. When I realised what a lowlife and vengeful creature you are, I ended all communications with you. This would be my last. I'll avoid you as much as I can but If I ever have to quote you again, it would only be a random mistake. We're approaching 2020, let's do better with our lives.
