Yuletide: FG Says There’s Abundant Fuel Supply by Nobody: 4:17pm On Dec 02, 2019
The Federal Government has assured Nigerians of adequate fuel supply this Yuletide.

The assurance was given at a stakeholders’ meeting held at the Presidential Villa on Monday in Abuja.



Those at the meeting included the Group Managing Director of the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation, Mele Kyari; the Minister of Works and Housing, Babatunde Fashola; the Inspector General of Police, Mohammed Adamu; and heads of agencies in oil and gas.

The meeting was held at the office of the Chief of Staff to the President, Abba Kyari.

Speaking at the meeting, the NNPC GMD said, “We are here today to take stock of our readiness for the festive period, particularly in terms of supplies and distribution of petroleum products across the country, so that this festive period will be enjoyed by Nigerians without any hitch, particularly the Christmas and New Year.

“We are very sure today that we have a very robust supply plan not just for Christmas but beyond. We are assuring Nigerians that the NNPC has made arrangement for the adequate supply of petroleum products. If there are any issues, we have come together with other agencies of government to ensure those issues are resolved to ensure Nigerians have a very Merry Christmas this year.”

You will never hear such comment during the Islamic festive season, it's only towards December 25th, you will start hearing reckless talks about scarcity

God knows I love everyone irrespective of where you are from

But in this 21st century, with all the increment, why should we be talking about fuel scarcity when many countries we compare ourselves with have moved further

January period is another story of untold hardship why can't this government make a Policy that would put smiles on people's faces for once

It would be better if the headline was Theres Abundant Refinery Capacity. How much money is Nigeria borrowing for this fuel supply.Nigeria needs to perform better. Instead of Buhari banning rice importation, he needs to ban fuel importation.

The government should bring their eyes down on this Festive scarcity.

A bigot will forever be a bigot. If there is scarcity you will talk, if there is no scarcity you will try to find something to say again by faking victim mentality and appealing to religious sentiments.

If the PDP who you supported had not given Nigeria the culture of fuel scarcity during Yuletide season, the APC won’t use that as a form of appraisal for their government.

Well both PDP and APC are set awon yabaleft!

What is essence of having abundant fuel nd yet people can't afford it because of it exorbitant prize. The high cost of fuel will authomatically increase transport fee. This is same as saying there will be abundant bags of rice in d market nd yet d prize is #27,000, Celebrating Xmas without bag of rice at d corner. Its a pity

Seun needs to act on porn posters here, somebody has suggested that the only way to checkmate these guys opening multiple accounts whom you cannot keep banning their accounts as they create 100 a day is to ensure that a new account email address must be verified by a MOD before it is allowed to post.
