You're quite a funny person. Because he won UEFA Nations League where Bernardo Silva was awarded the best player and not your Ronaldo? What else did he do.. Champions league.. zero, Golden ball..Zero., League title.. Messi won that also and won the Golden ball in Europe as well as Bernardo Silva for Man City.. so on what basis? Ordinarily, he shouldn't even be mentioned in the top 3 for any reason.. Mane of Liverpool is a more worthy mention to complete the podium with Van Dijk and Messi.

Messi won most of his awards out of past glory and sentiments not any current performance. If Ronaldo shudnt be there Messi shud be nowhere around there either.
