Chicago Police Superitendent, Eddie Johnson FIRED. He was fired on Monday by Major Lori Lightfoot just a few weeks before his planned retirement. The Mayor delievered alongside a stinging rebuke that cited his "ethical lapses" and "intentionally dishonest" answers regarding a controversial October Incident.

Kamala Harris Drops Out of 2020 Presidential Race

https://www.thedailybeast.com/kamala-harris-drops-out-of-2020-presidential-race?source=articles&via=rss

The Democratic senator informed her staff on Tuesday.

Sen. Kamala Harris (D-CA) shocked the 2020 campaign on Tuesday by announcing her departure from the race.

The senator informed her staff on a phone call, less than an hour after it was reported that the campaign canceled a big-money New York City fundraiser scheduled for Tuesday evening.

“To my supporters, it is with deep regret—but also with deep gratitude—that I am suspending my campaign today,” Harris said in a statement posted to Medium. “But I want to be clear with you: I will keep fighting every day for what this campaign has been about. Justice for the People. All the people.”

The senator’s 2020 exit also comes amid a New York Times report on her campaign’s recent troubles as she failed to crack the top tier of candidates. “She has proved to be an uneven campaigner who changes her message and tactics to little effect and has a staff torn into factions,” the Times wrote.

Following reports of her campaign’s end, the senator’s husband Douglas Emhoff posted a photograph of himself embracing Harris, captioned: “I’ve got you. As always.”

And the campaign’s organizing director Anatole Jenkins tweeted: “No regrets. So proud of every volunteer, every precinct captain, every organizer. So proud of @KamalaHarris. Our fight continues.”

Former Vice President Joe Biden, meanwhile, appeared shocked by the news as he left an event. “She is a first-rate intellect, a first-rate candidate and a real competitor. And I have mixed emotions about it because she is a really solid solid person and loaded with talent.”

This is a developing story...

...Not like she stands any chance...

Report: AG Barr Disagrees with IG on Whether Trump Surveillance Justified

https://www.breitbart.com/politics/2019/12/02/report-ag-barr-disagrees-with-ig-report-on-whether-trump-surveillance-justified/

Attorney General William Barr reportedly disagrees with a finding by the forthcoming Department of Justice (DOJ) Inspector General (IG) report that the FBI had sufficient reason to monitor the Trump campaign in 2016.

The FBI conducted surveillance on Trump campaign associates, including foreign policy aide Carter Page, on the basis of suspicions that the campaign might have been colluding with Russia to interfere with the 2016 election.

No evidence of collusion was ever found, though the surveillance continued well after the election, and the fact that the FBI was investigating the Trump campaign over Russia was leaked to Democrats and to the mainstream media.

The IG report is expected to criticize the FBI for the way in which it approached the secret Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act (FISA) court to obtain a warrant for that surveillance. The FBI partly relied upon the so-called “dossier” prepared by former British spy Christopher Steele for Fusion GPS, an opposition research company being paid by the Hillary Clinton campaign and the Democratic National Committee. Republicans have claimed that the FBI failed to corroborate the unproven allegations in the dossier, and hid its political origins from the FISA court.

But there have been conflicting leaks about what the report, which is set to be released next Monday, will say about misconduct at the FBI. Several individuals have already seen drafts of the report, as they are mentioned in it.

The Washington Post reported Monday evening that IG Michael Horowitz, an Obama administration appointee, had concluded that there was, in fact, sufficient evidence to justify what Barr earlier called “spying” on the campaign.

Barr reportedly disagreed, though a spokesperson for the DOJ dismissed reports of a dispute between Barr and Horowitz: “Rather than speculating, people should read the report for themselves next week,” she said.

Horowitz was criticized for his 2018 report on how the FBI handled the investigation of Hillary Clinton’s illicit email server, in which he found that officials mishandled the investigation but that political bias was not the reason.

...It seems Barr is looking for ways to disregard the much-awaited report to exonorate Trump...hopefully Barr will allow the full report to be released without too much retardations...

Call records show Devin Nunes in contact with indicted Giuliani associate

https://www.axios.com/devin-nunes-lev-parnas-rudy-giuliani-ukraine-a2193934-f4ae-48de-a3c9-8750a306812b.html

Call records included in an impeachment report released by House Democrats Tuesday show that House Intelligence Ranking Member Devin Nunes (R-Calif.) had a number of contacts in April with Rudy Giuliani and Lev Parnas, an associate of Giuliani's who has since been indicted for campaign finance violations.

Why it matters: The call records constitute some of the only new revelations from the report, which mostly relies on witness testimony that has been released to the public.

The big picture: The April contacts came in the midst of a smear campaign against former U.S. Ambassador to Ukraine Marie Yovanovitch, which was led by Giuliani, Parnas and John Solomon, a Trump-friendly journalist who formerly wrote for The Hill.

The Daily Beast has reported that Parnas, who helped introduce Giuliani to Ukrainian officials in his quest to dig up dirt on Trump's rivals, also helped arrange meetings for Nunes in 2018, when the top Republican was investigating the origins of the Mueller investigation.
Nunes has dismissed the entire impeachment inquiry as a hoax and part of a continued effort by Democrats to take down President Trump. He is likely to face new scrutiny about his involvement with key players at the center of the inquiry.

The House Intelligence Committee obtained phone records from AT&T showing extensive communications in early April involving Nunes, Giuliani, Lev Parnas, and The Hill columnist John Solomon, according to records released in the committee’s formal report on its investigation underlying impeachment charges against President Donald Trump.

The records shed new light on the relationship between Nunes, one of the impeachment inquiries most vehement critics, and the individuals at the center of what committee Democrats describe as an illicit campaign to weaponize U.S. foreign policy to Trump’s political advantage.

The records in the committee’s 300-page report show three phone calls between Nunes and Giuliani on April 10 of this year, and at least two with Parnas two days later. Derek Harvey, a member of Nunes’ staff, also had a phone call with Giuliani the following month.

Not surprised! We all saw it coming. She was just there the whole time just to mop up more campaign donations while pretending to be a genuine contender especially from the beginning long before Biden entered d race. At least you and I can agree on that.

Is anyone really surprised? She was all over the place like a clown pandering to every demographic except white people. The rest will go down in flames as well. Warren is a laughingstock and her policies and projections are as viable as building an estate on Saturn.

Buttigieg is just more of the same. Don’t even mention Sanders, nobody is even looking in his direction at this point he will claim he has to drop out due to mosquito bite.

Then we’ll have to deal with Biden and his shenanigans and a late entry by Hillary Clinton.

Trump will win 2020 in a massive landslide. grin grin

CNN will say anything to get more eyeballs to their fake news station. Was anybody on the CNN going to vote for Kamala? That’s the first question we should ask. If they weren’t going to then they are racist as they are trying to paint the Democratic Party as racist for fielding only white people.

But the truth is if you’re not electable, you’re not electable. You can scream and shout about sexism, racism, ageism all you like; the truth is people will vote for candidates that move them. Period. Who did Kamala move? Apparently, not enough even in her own party and demographic. Let’s even imagine she got 100% of the black vote, does that sufficiently translate to other races?

More of the same of the pandering lot. No real identity. Basically saying what he thinks the voters want to hear, which is exactly what killed Kamala. Except hers was worse because she had no form of originality whatsoever.

Every politician says what his potential voters want to hear. They want to be elected and re-elected but I still don't know what Mayor Pete says specifically. I haven't been following American politics as of lately.

What vision does Trump represent? What is new about it?

Well, the difference between a panderer and a politician who says what he’ll do is sincerity. Isn’t that the only ‘good’ was thing the left can say about Trump? That he’s doing what he promised? Of course, a republican could very well campaign on the same promises as Trump but many have done that and once elected ignored promise made, hence the term ‘RINO’

Plus, that’s what he wants anyway, so he’s basically lucky his interests and that of his base are in alignment as against someone who just wants to get elected and will say whaterver people want to hear whether they believe in it or not. Of course, they then change tack once ‘new information becomes available’
