I'm not really a fan of awards (since they are a product of a voting process) but your logic is a bit flawed.

ALL awards(including those CR7 won) are given from a voting process . Now, it follows that if Messi has ever gotten an undeserved award, Ronaldo too would have, since votes were also used for Ronaldo.

By the way Laliga is a Major trophy.


In 2013, CR7 won no major trophy. He wasn't even Laliga's top scorer Yet he won the BDO.

He was the UCl top scorer though. Remember that he won this (BDO) in the face of Neuer and Ribbery who had the UCL and a treble.

Messi won exactly the same Laliga majorly, UCL top scorer Laliga top scorer and UEFA golden boot. Almost the same situation as Ronaldo then and you say he(cr7) "deserved" ALL?
