Mystery/Suspense novels undoubtedly are the best kind of novels out there. I love crime/mystery books so much that I can’t go a week without reading at least 2. And just like everyone, I do have a list of writers I choose my reads from. In lieu of this, I've compiled a list of my Top 7 Crime/Suspense writers of the 21st century. Starting from bottom to the top

7. LISA GARDNER:
Lisa Gardner is an American author of fiction, and also a self-described research junkie, who parlayed her interest in police procedure, cutting edge forensics and twisted plots into a streak of several heart thumping thrillers.

He is the bestselling author of sixteen previous novels, including the #1 New York Times bestsellers "Long Lost" and "Hold Tight." He became more famous after he turned 50 and began writing best-selling romantic suspense novels, such as The Other Side of Midnight (1973) and Rage of Angels (1980) and my favourite, Master of the Game (1982). He has more than 300 million books in print.

OP you too much; brought back sweet old memories. I love them all. My writings are tailored after Dean Koontz. Consistently, I was going to the library for 2 years in other to brush up and learn their writing skills: because I wanted to be a novelist. No be joke oh. John Grisham Time To Kill, love it.

Mary Higgins Clark books traumatised me as a teen, still I never passed her books on the bookshelf without purchasing.

Didn't you see 21st century there? And I am not familiar with other writers there, but how does Oscar Wilde's works fit into the mystery/crime category?
