Barely 24 hours Justice Ijeoma Ojukwu ordered the DSS to release Omoyele Sowore and Olawale Bakare, the DSS operatives attempted to rearrest them shortly after the Friday’s proceedings, Irukkanews reports.

Shortly after the court clerk called the next case and people started leaving the courtrooms, Operatives of the Department of State Services (DSS) numbering about 15 started making some moves towards Sowore and Bakare.

The DSS operatives also chased away the presiding judge, Justice Ijeoma Ojukwu while also brutalizing a journalist with a popular television station.

There is currently an ongoing standoff inside the court premises as the DSS operatives are refusing to allow Sowore and his lawyers to come out of the place.

Reacting to the development, Sowore said the DSS operatives who appeared to be laying an ambush for him ahead of the close of Friday’s proceedings were on the move to kill him.
