Yes yes yes.... Another matchday. Surprise, Surprise... Rodgers surprises us all by giving NachoMan a start. Seems it's gonna be from the wings though. Not certain yet. Anyway, just glad to see him get another shot in the first XI in a long time.

Semi Ajayi doing the Lord's work for us in the Championship and West Brom are definitely taking back top spot today from Leeds.

Meanwhile... That tall Lanky Striker in Serbia called Umar Sadiq won't stop scoring!!! He bagged his 11th league goal and the game is still tied at 1-1 in the first half.

Chidera Ejuke starts in the Eredivisie.

And Ola Aina starts from the bench again for Torino vs Fiorentina in Serie A.

Happy Sunday Gents and ladies... wink
Xup Maja and Dessers? I hope they are looking to add to their respective goal tallies with starting spots?

SCORENigeria can exclusively reveal that a top French Ligue 1 side (name withheld) could soon table a big-money offer that could rise to eight million Euros for Heerenveen winger Chidera Ejuke.

Dutch club Heerenveen splashed two million Euros to snap former Nigeria U17 star Ejuke from Norwegian club Valerenga last summer.

And he has repaid part of that investment by netting six goals for them as they remain among the front runners in the Dutch top flight.

“Chidera has already attracted interest from a top French club and they are already talking of a bid of between five and eight million Euros,” a source close to the player informed SCORENigeria

“It’s now a question of whether Heerenveen will be willing to sell now or in the summer.”

Ejuke has signed a four-year contract with the Dutch club.

I am excitedly looking forward to those two My Man Chris. Dessers comes in play in about Two hours + from now while Maja will be in action by 9pm. I expect both to start.

Maja faces a tougher task though in Marseille. But the challenge is awesome for him.

Glad to Eze doing so well yesterday. 9 goals for a Midfielder is huge mehn.... In addition to his 4 assists.

Union Berlin Vs FC Koln

Ujah on the bench for Berlin, Kingsley Ehizibue starts for Koln but not as RB this time. He starts further forward as a RW/RM in a 4-1-2-1-2 formation.

Aston wants Iheanacho, and suddenly he gets his first start? Against who? Same Villa? hmm just hope Komekn was wrong, bkus this is looking like a marketing strategy, to me.
I said something about KC and his first game in the EPL. As usual I got the normal dogs abuse.

Below a screenshot which says something.

When a Manager wants a player BADLY what does he do to get him.

They normally give up player they don't neccesarily want anymore and or value.

You can now speculate from a position of knowledge.

Yes. You are right. He is very versatile across the length of the right flank be it in midfield, attack or defence.

I know that's what you will say ...

but that's kind of true....
I studied a bit of sociology back in school....
especially ethnography of various Nigeria ethnic groups.... and some other courses..

but to my knowledge... few of the individuals from the core north are barely ambitious...

many don't even care for a house.... as long as they have tools for shoemaking or doing maruwa and can construct a place to stay with zinc they are good to go...and don't mind have up to 4 wives and breed kids they can't even feed.

unlike the average south west espcially from ondo and ekiti where meritocracy and excellence is a watchword....
you'll see an electrician in this two states already bagged his MSc and has kick start his PhD.

the South east.... an Ibo man don't mind take years to learn from his master trade for years and when he starts you'll be surprised at the success he makes....
in the south east the women goes to school... more than the men and it stems from the colonial era... (please try get Nigeria people and culture ~ university of Benin GST222) and read it more..

we cannot shy away from this...the northerners preoccupation with political power and military etal has robbed them of the needed human capital development prequiste for regional growth.
So you be uniben boy. My real nigga. Tuale for you! Can't forget all those boring GST lectures at Basement back in the days.

Mujtahida:
The thing is that Nigerians are afraid to acknowledge the reality of our existence. We are very ethno-religious in our biases, in our orientation and identity yet everybody tends to shy away from the issue. We have refused to be truthful and thats why we lumped ourselves up in this sickening Mish mash called 'one Nigeria' and hence we have remained stuck in one place.

Restructure the damn shit if not in a thousand years it would not make progress.
thanks bro....it is hypocrisy to trying to run away from our plural nature....

we are heterogeneous...Yes that has not been our problem.... our problem stems from the inability to manage our diversity to our advantage.....

many countries are sure heterogeneous but some have been able to use it to their advantage but unlike us the colonialist instituted the divide and rule scheme to milk us dry as well keep us disunited and now our politicians are doing same....and all we think best is to pitch tenth in the hypocrisy of trying to deny our tribal differences....

the best way this can be managed is by embracing TRUE FEDERALISM.....

Nacho has already made a fine start to this game. Making two key passes, and creating a chance. From what I see, Leicester are playing a kinda 4-1-2-1-2.

I don't think he is playing from the flanks. He does drop off sometimes to the flanks if need be but on the overall, he is up top with Vardy with Maddison playing behind both.
