On the 9th of this month went I to the German embassy for document certification. They certified everything except my transcript!

Please, FUTO students using student copy transcript, look for a way to stamp your transcripts with a stamp that has the university name on it. Just the letter head is not enough. Better still, get your original transcript yourself if you can and use it.

Mine only had the "Student Copy" stamp and the letterhead. And they rejected it.

It wasn't possible for me to go back to Owerri and come back to Lagos again... Even though the embassy lady wanted to postpone my appointment for me to my next desired date.

Now, I will have to ask my school to mail uniassist my transcript themselves.

Please, if you were once a FUTO student and have done this before, is it possible I can include my other documents so my school forwards both the sealed transcript and my other embassy certified documents to uniassist?

Or must the school send my transcript themselves while I send my other documents independently?

I want to save costs please...

Thank you.

Good, but if you are smart you will realise, student visa applicant are going to infuse money into the system unlike the other visa applicant you mentioned. There is no country in the world that reject influx of money into thier system.

Inject money for free tuition schools grin grin

Hello house, I need your urgent reply
I have Bsc in Geography and resource management, GPA 3.02
I'm considering masters in Germany, will I get a school that doesn't require English test, that I'll just get a letter from my school saying my university education was taught in English
Or I have to write IELTS

People have faith and would doubt anything.

That's how they doubted the September flush of the embassy's system despite it being written boldly on the embassy site.

This is the first time I am seeing that update about waiting for 12months or more, that means it was updated of recent, they will still doubt.

Some people own better, what about some of us that have blocked accounts already, I blocked my BA since July, yet see what the embassy is saying.
Re: General German Student Visa Enquiries Part 7 by Coldie(m): 8:46am On Dec 12, 2019
How would someone who got admission in a school wait 12months to get visa date when his resumption date is not up to 3 months.

Good morning guys, about the new info from the consulate. I don't think it should affect those who applied before the update. Perhaps I dont see it possible, because it's not realistic.

I think there are misconceptions somewhere .. as I don’t think it’s possible to get admission and wait for 1yr lol its crazy besides on the link below the information is not there I wonder if they have 2 websites

If it's written on the website then it must be the truth, faith or no faith. Things are changing drastically and I also won't be surprised if they increase the blocked account next year because the German government are also planning to increase the bafoeg for students next year, that is exactly what happened this year.

At this point, people in Cat B can only hope to get AD, because this wait is not only affecting students but also family reunion and work visas.

You really have no idea.

You have a point, the tuition is free, so on paper, there is no way the German economy would benefit from the influx of students coming in to "take advantage" of their educational system, however when we look at this from an analytical standpoint, then we get a clearer picture which helps debunk the myth that the foreign students are basically "freeloaders and parasites" as the right wing euro-centric nationalists would have you believe, for example the influx of foreign students would improve the buying power as the foreign students would have to buy basic amenities like food, clothing etc, students would also have to secure accommodation so this helps the German housing / real estate sector, students would pay taxes, water usage bills, electricity usage bills and so on and this also goes back into the German economy, then there's the possibility of the Germans coming across an exceptional student either in academics or athletics so the Germans could offer the student some sort of scholarship or resident permit / citizenship provided the student agrees to represent Germany in the Olympics or in the tech industry (brain drain), Also foreign students aren't refugees so they aren't entitled to welfare, so the Germans wouldn't have to worry about having another case of Syrians and Libyans exploiting their system (the blocked account and SL initiative acts as some kind of safe bet for the German authorities)

It is a tricky topic but when all has been said and done, it is safe to say the Germans would actually be gaining more than they are losing. Its one of the tricks the Germans have up their sleeves, they make it seem like they are doing you a favour but in reality it is actually the other way around......or at most a win win situation!

What does this site have to do with the waiting period. It says nothing about cat B waiting.

Just the normal thing almost all of us know about

Influx of migrants on free education adds nothing much to there economy apart from that those students would want to work in Germany to get this moneys they spend. Apart from that German economy is at the brink of recession, plus already Germany is already the most populated country in the EU.

Maybe they think doing this will save there economy.

I am going to the embassy next week to submit for a refund. Me it's obvious I might not go to Germany. The country just wasted my time and made me suffer a huge loss, cause u can't imagine what I had to part with to get that BA money. Yet nothing.
