I was in Dubai recently and I really enjoyed taking the metro. It saved me a whole lot of money. So many people ride the metro, even working professionals. Their taxi system is also very well organised. Their taxis are all metered and the least you can pay is 12 Dirham no matter how short the distance is. Their roads nko? I didn't know life could be different. When I came back to Nigeria, I was depressed for one whole week. Our leaders are cursed!

The Dubai Tram is a tramway located in Al Sufouh. The tram service links Dubai Metro and the Palm Monorail and runs along Al Sufouh Road and Jumeirah Beach Road. It provides access to destinations such as the Palm Jumeirah, Dubai Marina and Jumeirah Lake Towers.

The tram runs for 14.5 kilometres (9.0 mi) along Al Sufouh Road from Dubai Marina to the Palm Jumeirah and Al Sufouh. It takes about 42 minutes to run from Al Sufouh to Jumeirah Beach residences.

In Dubai, to board and ride in a tram, you would need to pay with a Nol card. You can purchase one at any of the tram or Metro stations. A Nol Card can be used by passengers to check-in and check-out of the tram by scanning (tapping) the card at the platform screen doors.

The Tram has a fixed fare of AED 3 (N300) per ride, regardless of the distance travelled. But if you're paying for a ticket with cash,  you would have to pay at a premium.

In America, during the 1940's 50's, they had Trams. A very nice form of transportation for the masses.
The car industry just began selling cars. But people were not buying cars because they didn't need ...
So the auto industries all go together discuss BAD plan.
They used their money to buy the tram companies and all their infrastructure.

Once they had ownership of the trams, they bastardised the whole thing. Scattered it finish - Nonsense.

Now every body leg was paining them and they were all forced to buy cars.

Easy to point fingers but you have to question the citizens who keep voting for these types of leaders. This is not a military govt anymore, we can change our leaders if we are serious. Because majority of you are greedy, unethical and of low moral compass. Politicians, monarchs, area boys etc will all want a percentage of the contract which will drive down the quality. If it ever gets completed, you guys will start stealing the metals on the tracks, remove the windows etc. The rail workers will hoard the tickets and increase the price to make illegal extra bucks. Some of you will be in the train to snatch bags and rob passengers. You now see that it is a collective problem. You are all culpable in the under-development that will remain in the country for a long time. Those things don't just appear magically, it takes the responsibility of all and sundry.
