If Manchester City activates the buyback clause now, we only get to pay £37.5m because the £50m comes if they qualified for Champions League.

As if Man City wants a player that struggles to trap the ball. Keep fooling yourselves!. A couple of cameo appearances mean nothing!. Let Iheanacho play five premier league games this season first before we can rate him.

As it stands, Guardiola won't take Iheanacho even for FREE.

Are you guys really serious about that 'Best performing foreign born prospect' award section?

You might want to have a review on that. I don't think it is polite to make them feel less Nigerian than they are.

That section should be removed or renamed.

N.B. It is similar to an award section like;
Best performing Igbo Nigerian Player : Ndidi
Best performing Yoruba player : Ola Aina

Why would you want to call them foreign born to their face?

It promotes segregation. They are all Nigerians and should remain as that.

I get your point bro but the essence is not to create any form of segregation. It is rather a means of drawing the NFF's and other stake holders' attention to those players. And we used the words 'prospects' to show our intent to popularize them for them to be acquired by Rohr and the NFF for the National Team.

You think it is just cameo. You think Rodgers was blind when he started Nacho in an important game against Villa.

Not saying he will get a good run of games. Nacho is now an option for Rodgers to play a two striker system to a good strength.

City might not go for him but I believe it is being considered. Although Gabby Jesus made a big case for himself with the hat-trick yesterday.

Remarkable how Manchester United essentially academy team are flogging the 2nd best team in the Eredivisie 4-0.

Rangers struggling through to get a draw against Young boys with a man just sent off.

Aribo has been absolutely outstanding for Rangers. Seyi Ojo just about OK not particularly impressive for me.

Well, u have a point here.. However, the context here is football and the award has to do with Nigerian football.. Those foreign born players haven't contributed anything yet to our football so I see no reason why they should be competing with other capped players for the awards.
But if u insists, then we should nominate players like Dele Alli, David Alaba, Manuel Akanji and Tammy Abraham since they are also Nigerians...

We are not spending yet in that magnitude. That is why we brought Angelino back. It is good for business, signing quality players for cheap price. Signing Nacho will cost about £12.5m if we sign him now.

We need cover because Aguero is 31. Not the perfect age to have a player running at such intensity. Nacho also offers a smooth midfield addition when he drops deep which I feel Guardiola urgently needs with sides playing too deep against us.
if Pep needs a striker to replace Kun he can never ever ever look at Nacho, he'll rather go for a 100mill pounds striker

I am still waiting for you to name the Nigerian home grown players that l have denigrated with negative bias and prejudice in favour of what you have termed FB (foreign born players)

You still haven't been able to name just one not even two JUST ONE it's very simple.

Arsenal interim head coach Freddie Ljungberg has admitted that the star performer in his side's 2-2 draw with Standard Liege, Bukayo Saka was upset with him before the game.

The Swede set up his team in a 3-4-3 formation with Saka deployed as a left wing-back, a role he has played for England youth teams in the past but the first time he was asked to do so at club level.

The Gunners number 77 was saddled with defensive and offensive duties and he impressed, creating the first goal for Alexandre Lacazette before scoring the equaliser nine minutes from time.

''He was amazing. He was a bit upset with me before the game that he had to play wing-back and full-back. He’s a tremendous talent,'' Ljungberg told reporters post-match.

''His final ball and last bit is always effective.''

With an eye on the upcoming Premier League meeting with Manchester City and the squad ravaged by injuries to several first-teamers, Ljungberg opted to name six teenagers in his matchday squad - Saka, James Olayinka, Gabriel Martinelli, Tyreece John-Jules, Zech Medley and Emile Smith-Rowe.

''I feel sorry for our young players. A lot of them haven’t been on loan, they’ve not had that exposure to men’s football.

''Some of them made mistakes but they’ll learn from those mistakes and won’t do them again.

''Bukayo had a tremendous night,'' he added.

Playing as a wing-back, Saka registered a game-high five shots, made a game-high four key passes, made two tackles and one interception, according to OPTA stats.
