another lesson ppl should not is that NIGERIANS DONT LIKE TO BE DIFFERENT ,
nigerians like the bandwagon mentality and many of them cant even dare to do something different , many times i have gone to the atm , you will see many ppl lining up behind one or two and neglecting the other machines , if you ask them if the others are working ,they will tell you they dont know because when they came they just lined up behind others and never even tried to test and see if the others are working , and most times it has turned out that the other machines too are working or have even been repaired while they were standing but because they see others in one line they wont even try to use the others to find out if they are ok .

LESSON , ; YOU CAN NEVER KNOW UNLESS YOU TRY , DONT BE AFRAID OF MAKING A MISTAKES
,

most at times , many are just scared of the laughter or jest ppl will make of them id they try to use the other machines and find it not working , but just like the saying goes ,'THERE IS NEVER A HARM IN TRYING ". If you try and it doesn't work out , no one will blame you , it is your time , your card , your money and your life . you can either chose to follow the crowd and be missing among them or do things differently and make a mark for yourself .
if Nigerians see someone making money from a business , every one will troop into that business and hardly will you see someone who will dare to think out of the box and eventually when someone does, he creates a mark , makes money and set the pace

I feel that way too.
But then, I've realised its not wrong either. Learnt is British English while learned is American

went to lag on the island never saw any queues there. Another point should be nigerians should learn to go cashless. I was able to pay for good and services using bank transfers even the market woman knows what an alert is

Learned and learnt are past tense of learn. There's nothing appauling in the usage of "learnt". I even use "latter more frequently than the formal.

Na small remain make i call OP mumu o. So na ATM u dey take teach life lesson or motivational speaking ba? U even concluded that it is #5,000 that the woman's husband sent to her, which is definitely not true. The only thing I'll give to you here is your creativity. The truth is that real life situations are quite different from what you have depicted and even when it looks similar, it's hard to remember the lesson you learnt at the ATM gallery when faced with troubles. The mumu thing na joke sha grin grin grin

Cashless benefits banks, that's why they're trying to force it on everybody

It's convenient now but gives too much power to corporations who will be seeing absolutely everything you use your money for and collecting information on your expenditure as data

Yes oooooooooo

He corrected an error and I also corrected an error in his error correcting write up. No one is perfect as I also wait for someone to correct the errors in my write up.

When you know this, you will correct people in a mild manner.

I no know, was my response.

How? If your not doing anything illegal, nothing wrong with monitoring spending habits

It not good for big business to be able to see absolutely everything you buy and at what time you buy it...thats why theyre making the cashless look nice to people so that they will be able to target their advertising and make you spend more money

And cashless makes you less conscious of how much you are spending

Cash is power...

So you would rather go wait in an atm line every other day to withdraw money? There are definitely pro's and con's
