FOI Bill is about freedom to have access to any public information e.g. financial report of a government agency.

It has nothing to do with the Fake News bill.

Example: herdsmen in kaduna state kills & the governor comes out to say its hate speech calling out herdsmen..isn't FOI not shut down

Thanks but in a situation where one is stating a fact with proofs & government says it isn't a fact(it's fake/hate speech)..isn't that a hindrance to FOI?
