Had to install the apps from playstore with the phone itself. Try doing that.

The apps installed using PlayStore but that is a costly and inconvenient fix brother

Unfortunately redmi 7a can't use gcam because gcam is only optimized for 64bit Android. Dunno why xiaomi used 32bit Android on redmi 7a. I only found out when I was trying to install it like you.

I got a redmi 8a for my younger sister earlier today. I sent her some apps through xender and it is refusing to install. The texts I keep receiving is "due to system policy, this app cannot be installed and application not installed"

I have tried factory resetting but to no avail. is there any workaround it?

Go to settings - additional settings - privacy and check unknown sources

Xender has permission to install apps from unknown sources.

If you don't check that unknown source in settings, you won't be able to install apps outside the playstore

go check old gcams..there ones that work on 32bits

Friend, you dont need 64-bit OS to run Gcam, it can work well on 32-bit OS, just need some tweaks.
Here is my modified version to work with Redmi 7A Global Version, it stable and improves camera quality a lot over the stock app it also include Slow-Motion mode and EIS for Video Recording.

When you launch the app for first time, enter to settings and forceclose the app.

That implied that I have done that earlier and I just did again but it was futile. if it was suggestive of an argument, then it is my bad.

Android policy is changing for some apps especially apps that have to do with form submission (signing in). So they see some of those l apps shared as flawed security wise

Apps mostly affected are Facebook, WhatsApp and co

The apps that were affected when I was facing that same issue was Snapchat and Nord VPN and one other VPN. No issues with other apps since then.
