Mine is 14months+ old and a factory reset, and all is fine. Don't see any need when there is no issue that warrant it.

E no show there. The thing have tired me. I didn't hide it and I didn't set it not to show om gallery, from Yo settings. The thing have tire me jare. And it used to show before o. The folder shows old pix on gallery, not recent pic, even in "recent"

Good evening. I noticed the pple send me pix but it doesn't show in my gallery even in d "WhatsApp image" folder but it shows on folder. It actually shows in "private" folder not the generic one in "media". How can I mke it show in gallery pls?

Clear cache of gallery. Mine shows in gallery under whatsapp images folder.

I have done that. Even cleared data, e still no show. I tried something. Went to move a pix a friend sent to me from "private" folder to the general "WhatsApp image folder". Image was visible in gallery, but when I when to check the pix in the chat, it was gone. I can't be duplicating my pix for the sake of satisfying both requirement. The pix I sent however after snapping with camera on WhatsApp, we're visible in gallery. It's wasn't like this in pref versions.
Are you using v8. 12 or 8.15?

The phone installs all apps downloaded directly but is selective via xender. The apps I sent to the phone were gotten from PlayStore by myself. I am at a fix
It's usually impossible to install apps on Xiaomi phones via apps sharing applications. So, just download directly.

It is not restricted to Xiaomi alone, experienced it with a new infinix some days ago.

Apps mostly affected are Facebook, WhatsApp and co
