After reading what happened, I must say it serves Rogers right that his team dropped points at home. I think Norwich players overreacted, and Rogers should have a had a pep talk with Nacho instead of pulling him off prematurely. |

Tottenham Hotspur loanee Luke Amos bagged a brace but ended up on the losing side as Queens Park Rangers were beaten 5-3 by bottom team in the Championship, Barnsley on Saturday evening. Apart from Amos, two other players of Nigerian descent in the form of Eberechi Eze and Bright Osayi-Samuel started for the Hoops at Oakwell Stadium. And it was the central midfielder who made the biggest impact for his side, scoring either side of half-time, his first goals for the club he joined on loan in the summer transfer window. On 12 minutes, Conor Chaplin's opener was cancelled out by Amos as he fired home a rebound after Jordan Hugill's effort came back off the post. With Rangers trailing 3-1, Amos reduced the deficit to 3-2, lashing home after goalkeeper Samuel Radlinger parried a shot into his path at minute 54. Barnsley's other scorers were Conor Chaplin (2), Cauley Woodrow and Bambo Diaby, while QPR's Ilias Chair got on the scoresheet in the 90th minute. The 22-year-old Amos made his competitive debut for Tottenham Hotspur on the opening day of the 2018-2019 season against Newcastle United and previously spent time on loan at Stevenage and Southend United. |

yea, his greatest mistake will be waiting for a chance in the 3 lions team stacked with young and better midfielders such as alli, mount, chamberline, maddison and uncapped grealish even in the current england u21 setup he is down the pecking order with willock and foden ahead of him. eze's heart is with 9ja but alot is going on behind the scene which is connected to his imminent transfer to an epl club latest next summer, even collin udoh made the same insinuation too in one of his articles i posted here about dessers. eze will declare for 9ja once he secures a move to the epl of which QPR will get more from his transfer as an english u21 player. SCORENigeria can exclusively report that French Ligue 1 side Lille as well as Turkish giants Besiktas have spied on Antalyaspor striker Paul Omo Mukairu with the aim of signing him. It was learnt that Lille scouts watched the Nigerian youngster when Antalyaspor fell 3-1 at home to Trabzonspor earlier this month. Mukairu, 19, has been one of the revelations in the Turkish Super Lig this season after he scored twice in 14 appearances. One of his goals was against Besiktas. He could also play on the wings or behind the top striker. In the summer, he was rewarded with a five-year contract by Antalyaspor after he scored eight goals in as many matches for the U19s last season. His club sports director has maintained that the player is not for sale as they expect his transfer market value to rise in the coming years. |
