I always used to think redmi Note 5 launched initially with Android nougat. Since the redmi Note 5 was a colossal success, if the Note 5 can surpass that we might get the same scenario on the Note 8.

This is the Indian Version though called Redmi Note 5 Pro, search for Redmi Note 5 AI, that's the one we use here and it shipped with Android 8.1
