tbf,day to day activities aren't really going to chop much of your money. Na those bulk spendings be the koko. But still its going to be difficult to finish 1mill every month in this country even woith a very large family by nigerian standards. 95% of the population dont even see that in a month and they still build houses and train their kids in the best of schools

40k per day - Not necessary, I wasn’t accountable b4 now spending as I earned, thinking 1.3M wasn’t enough per month. Now I deliberately budgeted 900k every month and monitored as I spent it. Even with extended family, i still have up to 150k or 200k some months with which I drink good pepper soup and palm wine. On health issues - when you pay attention to what you eat you spend less; it’s not about eating one foreign vegetable, there are a lot of our own local foods that are cheap and very healthy. Just took correct abasha, roasted fish and palm wine as dinner. How much did it cost?
I also run solar and 10k per month Airtel internet; can’t even exhaust it. Kept topping up every month I should have up to 70gig by now.
On cars, I used to do anyhow, bought two Benz at the same time, forming what I do not know ( spending on maintenance hugely). Now with my Toyota I spend less - my wife refused to give up the Honda Pilot sha. Lol

Hmmmmm.
I think we should all read the millionaire next door and the next millionaire next door.
My friend working in Dubai is being paid 1.8m monthly and is planning to come back to his job here in Nigeria where he's paid 25% less because it was cheaper for him to live in Nigeria.
I just don't see what I need to spend 40k on daily. I live in my personal house in GRA, I have 24/7 solar power supply, my kids attend good Catholic schools, I have just two cars, sold the third a week ago for half the amount I bought it 6 years ago. I travel a lot and spend more money on buying fuel than anything else, on the average 70k a month.
I would same I'm comfortable on about 20k per day expenditure, even while budgeting.

Some have started comparing third world country with a first world grin
How can you expect the best from a third world country, developing country for that matter........

On the other side, do people actually spend so much? 40k on daily basis.....
Well is possible if you do clubbing every night thou.

Nigeria is always much much cheaper to live than abroad...... Only those that have lived both side can confirm this, is just that the country is disorganized
