what about other people that have post personal stuff on this thread, from armed robbery and kidnapping to sickness and death of loved ones to car being stolen and many more, why weren't they cautioned to keep they private stuff off nairaland? why am I now getting cautioned, does it häve anything to do with age? what am I missing?

Has it occurred to you that those that put out such words of caution are doing it coz they personally care about you and not those others you're citing as example? The Nairaland I know frowns at uploading other people's pictures and information.

In the Nigeria of today it is no secret that all it takes is a small amount of information on you for a good scam artist to open a file on your case. For instance the info & phone numbers on the IV you uploaded.

If you could care less about spilling your own info online at least take permission before spilling that of others.
