Yesterday I watched Wilder vs Ortiz. Wilder was fortunate in one the earlier round thanks to the bell. Ortiz had him but it was close to the end of that round. I am sure Wilder would have silently thank the "bell" for saving him at that point. If it were just 20 seconds more, he would have kissed the ring.

People will always talk... Let them enter the ring and fight that same ''ordinary fat Andy Ruiz'' and let's see if they come out of it alive.

AJ is frail, but he gathered 4 good belts in the heavyweight division by knockouts... LOL... Some people are just jealous. grin

Av always said that Joshua isn't that good. There r too many weak heavy weight boxers this days that's why Klitschko dominated the stuff nd now Joshua may do same. Klitschko wouldn't have survived in Mike Tyson's era not to talk of Joshua.

Anyone can say anything. Styles make fights.

A fight at a time and victory is the ultimate.

Andy Ruiz's style of fight is like that of Parker and AJ couldn't also KO Parker.

However, he conquered both to be a unified champion.

I agree and also disagree with some of your points.
First, Wilder is not technical but he has the heart of a fighter and he also has a punchers chance which has always bailed him out in most of his fights where he has been troubled which also makes him very fortunate.

Secondly, I disagree with the thinking that it would have been a different outcome if it where 20 seconds more because he didn't needed 20 seconds more before getting the KO over his opponent therefore such notion is nothing but a conjecture which wasn't supported by the outcome.

His opponent had the same amount of time allocated for the fight to KO Wilder so the imaginary 20 seconds additional time just for his opponent to do the damage he couldn't upto the time he was KOed is more of a wishful thinking.

Don't mind these folks who know nothing about boxing. Apart from Fury, Wilder hasn't had any formidable opponent in his career. Fury was even robbed in the fight cos Wilder didn't knock him out, it was supposed to be points based.

AJ has fought and won Klitschko, Carlos Takam, Dillian Whyte, Andy Ruiz, guys that are very difficult to beat. He succeded in gathering 4 belts and some critics think he got it by chance... 4 good belts! Awon onisokuso! If Wilder faces a guy like Ruiz, he's gone for life!
fury also just came back from a two years rehab or so. Wilder picks his fight carefully. He is always quick to jump in the ring with Grandpa Ortiz and other unknown journeymen boxers. The guy dey fear to lose that one belt he has.

I would really love to see him fight Ruiz but the guy go run as usual. He won't be able to measure from a distance with his left hand before landing the right if he was to fight Ruiz. Ruiz would brawl and knock him the fvck out as Wilder doesn't know how to block too.

This guy don't know what he us talking about. Had Joshua fought differently, the story will not be the same. Joshua fought the way he was supposed to. People underestimate Ruiz because of his physique. But the guy is a very good boxer with fast hands and power. Wilder will not dare trade with Ruiz and hope to win. You stick and move. Ruiz beat any heavyweight who trade punches with him.

how? he basically used Fury's style against Ruiz in the last bout.

Difference between AJ and Fury is that AJ has one of the hardest hitting punch while Fury throws soft jabs. After watching the last match with Ruiz, I now doubt that Fury or Wilder would be able to take AJ out. He has shown that he can box and hit you hard while at it.

AJ fought with sense and not sentiments by trying to give boxing fans the highs and KOs they need to breathe.
It's his career on the line here. He played by the books and all is alright in his world for now

The two fights wasn't a real boxing game, it was just for the bucks and they both achieved that

The real boxing will be seen when wilder or fury join AJ in the ring

Ortiz is a very skillful boxer but unfortunately with a stamina problem. He has a very small gas tank. Wilder has only one thing: his power.

Toh I said this after the first match and people wan kee me cheesy Baba staked against himself to lose the first encounter and against him winning the rematch. Ruiz was paid off to lose else if he really was serious he would have defended the title successfully

So it's safe to say they're just jealous of AJ cos he came back instead of the the loss they had hoped for. Instead of the critics to give credit to Ruiz, they're now saying Ruiz was never a great fighter. But if Ruiz had won that fight, guess they would have sung his praises cos I can remember them comparing his fighting style to Mike Tyson's... Human beings will always condemn.

These old school fighters are always bitter when they see the new generation outperforming them. I think the only humble one of them is Mike Tyson. Killer Mike always admits whenever he sees someone doing well. How can a fighter of all people claim another is out of shape? Andy was ‘out of shape’ yet survived twelve full rounds? The envy is hard to hide. I watched the highlights and the fight wasn’t as bad as I imagined. Joshua should have put more effort in some parts but if playing safe won his titles back then I can’t fault him.

Joshua is good but you can't compare Mike Tyson with Anthony Joshua,
Mike Tyson was on next level, he was so ruthless his opponents find very difficult to continued after 4 rounds.
