this town does not require person putting u through. enter motor come Onitsha, if u dey waka for road no dey walk like say u be jjc .,just open ur eyes wide.will put u through anywayz

u can find a cheap hotel if u must sleep over, which location re u coning from. may suggest a mode of movement DT night require u not to spend a nite here.

I just saw this thread and the Op gave a very good advice, but some people chose to ignore it.
Don't get a shop in Onitsha if you don't have at least 5-6 million left after getting the shop.
If you have anything less, the money bags there will frustrate you with silly prices and you'll end up depressed.
If you really want to make real money, buy your things in onitsha and sell in far away places like Benin, Portharcourt, Bayelsa and other states not close to Onitsha.
Onitsha is not for the weak.
You must be an astute business man before you can make it there.

u can enter night bus from lagos to Onitsha. if u reach Onitsha for morning u enter market buy ur goods. same day by evening u enter anoda night bus from Onitsha to Lagos. DT way u no need to sleep for hotel

there are people DT sell iphones and Samsung here. u know d demand for these two brands has greatl6 reduced over d years. Onitsha bizman does not take much interest in goods with low demand.

Onitsha has direct importers of earphones, Bluetooth headphones, chargers etc. I know some of them. there is a memory card company here DT sells SD cards, flash drives ,etc to lagos and many African countries. DT guy makes not less Dan 20m sales daily. do u know there are some items u can buy cheaper here than d price in china excluding ur shipping fee

have always told people to know d price in their area first before opting for Onitsha own. so DT they can compare and not make mistakes.

from over the years, from experience I know many items can be cheaper for Onitsha compared to Lagos as I wrote in one of the first posts I made. I remembered years back when we dey take some goods from here to Lagos to sell. and was really moving in Lagos. the truth there is DT any item Onitsha has direct importers of is normally cheaper here than in Lagos. iin my own line of biz, there are computers accessories like modesms, mifi, mouse etc dt i sell cheaper than lagos . we still do waybill to lagos. have seen people who come to relief market initsha to buy even drinks and some consummable and take them to owerri, portharcourt,enugu etci. i do wonder if such common popular consummables dont have depot in such major cities. a computer accessory seller in d north by name Mohammed told me last month that the list of goods he buys from lagos at 800k plus he buys d same list of goods from Onitsha at 600k plus.

bottomline onitsha bizman beleives in turnover. small profit and steady sales. thats part of our secret down here. notwithstanding there are ifew items people here too buy from Lagos ,there are people whose biz crumbled here and they moved to,lagos and started doing well,again, the competitoon,here is stiff and it affects prices, why not u as a bystander take advantage of that price crash
