I guess your friend in the US that married on a student Visa was you.

I believe "People" say US is a Sane country and since you live here, I expected you to behave like a Sane man and not resort to insult during arguments.

I still stand on my word and hear this, people without papers sef finance cars too.

I live in Chicago, Illinois. Call your people in Chicago, they will tell you whatsapp.

If generated SSN could work for doordash, lyft how much more of insurance company..

This is a public forum, so I wont say much.

We might live in the same US BUT we got different orientation.

You are absolutely correct Dru. There are times you allow some people to wallow in their ignorance. You can't continue flogging a dead horse. All these informations are out there for everyone to see, regardless of where anyone lives. Why would an illegal chose to directly put himself in the line of fire by enlisting with Uber that will bring him face to face with law enforcement agencies that he's hiding from? Lol. Not even plausible to begin with. Only a die hard criminal would try that, maybe, those are the exceptions they are basing their arguments on.
una think say America na heaven ? don't be deceived by the news and all that, plenty plenty illegals drive uber and that's a fact,my own brother was an illegal and drove for uber for almost a year, some people just think America has an all seeing system that can't be hacked lol

For heaven sake what is wrong using a car I’m renting for any purpose, I can decide to park the car in the house or use it to do what ever provided i do not bridge the contract agreement.

Why are you guys not asking why I spent my personal money in the car yet I still paid for days and week car didn’t work?

Let’s try to be rational in our judgment please. Just barely 17days car was under my custody I only used it to work less than 6days on and off and I still paid for 1st week, spent more than 7k trying to solve some problem and then also did servicing due to shortage of engine oil. You all know the type of oil corolla uses calculate the cost.

I really like how @izzou pointed out some things which is the mistake was that I would have handed over the car to the person she wanted me to but men everyone has reasons to their actions. What if I take that action and then in the process before she return something else happens which court will judge to my favor that I handed a call to somebody else instead of the person I collected it from? This is Nigeria and sh*t happens especially when you’re dealing with a woman you just have to be very careful.

grin Let me explain myself before you crucify me grin grin.

I got a request inside Ikota Village Estate, picked rider without asking for destination, started trip and I saw IDIMU, I told rider that I dont think I can continue with the trip say I'm sorry.

Madam said do you want to end trip I said Yes Ma and quickly added that the 500 fare I will pay so she doesn't have to bother about that, I parked inside Mega Chicken parking lot and ended trip.

So I told her to wait in my car while she order for another ride, she couldn't due to network issue with her phone. At this point she was restless, saying she really needs to beat rush hour traffic yen yen yen, told her madam calm down let me order for you from my end, she agreed.

Pam pam I don order, driver called, he requested for destination, i told him. Bros say I'm sorry I cant go to that place, abeg cancel. Madam say why we they run from her destination, I just laughed, no give reply.

Madam come say make I put Airport road that she will find her way from there, good enough. Next driver accepted to go, he was just at the car park so it was fast and easy, madam left with the guy and all the while my car was idling with AC on.

After she left I went back online and request entered immediately, pick up Oando just after Mega Chicken, called rider and destination was Lekki, I was happy.

Time to leave the parking lot, engaged gear into R, gehgehgehgehgeh, car went off and it has not started since then.

As I no get energy to they find mechanic upandan inside sun, I leave am there enter inside Mega Chicken say make I relax, wrong move angry angry, I don buty catfish and Plantain Amala chop. I cant kill myself. tongue

What's dis one again naa? It hasn't gotten to this. I see this thread educative and fun that's why I partake in it but if it has gotten to this I will stop contributing in anyway... Please let's be matured. Honestly speaking I see us all here as one family trying to help each other evade dangers in our everyday life, then why the insult?. I learn alot from every negative and positive argument here... even Dru23 in question is also contributing a great lot, so is everyone of us. Fabiano please.......
Let's all argue with maturity...

People use other people's SSN to get jobs that is not a secret.. That been said ,after 911 incident happened.. The hotel I worked at , all the minority that worked there left the job..

Do u know why , the state warn them that they need to do proper background checks on who they hire. Or face possible fine ..So HR started asking everyone to bring documents that shows that they have papers to work.. The housekeeping department staff was half way gone..
So if uber is knowingly doing this they would get fine for it.. Am sure they have been fine for it , we just don't hear it on the news..

And plus are those generating fake SSN, might be stolen ssn numbers... If a company is doing proper background check all these things will come.. Also if sex offenders ,criminal are doing uber, which we know they are not supposed to do .. Uber will be held reliable for anything that happens.. This will include law suit , so it will be in their best interest to weed this people out....

No matter how you spin am .. You still need a driver's lincese to get insurance.. Anything other than that is insurance fraud... driving without insurance you will end up in jail.. And license revoked .. People have had their lincese revoked permanently. They will need to go to court to get it back

Not a problem. The car started?
Yes it did, worked fine until this evening before it started going off anytime the AC wants to cycle in traffic or without AC but Fan needs to work for cooling. Also, if it goes off I will need to crank like three times before it works, if the CEL comes ON during the three trials it won't start until I turn off the car completely and start again.

People without papers do insurance on cars and drive perfectly fine in the US.. As for your friend, Tell me to put out ears in the street and he will know whatsup.

People use fake ssn to do food delivery too...

I AM NOT ENCOURAGING THIS BUT PEOPLE DO IT ALOT..
