I doubt if the mistake can be corrected with a certainty because of the way the Republicans drew the electoral district's which gives them an advantage on the electoral college and for this reasons, the Democrats must make sure they win the swing state's back and also make sure that no State's nor districts that usually votes Democrats ends up being put in play during the 2020 election which was what happened with Pennsylvania, Michigan and co which are natural blue state's that where turned red in 2016.

Sighing down deeply for hours while watching and listening to these mighty American leaders debating/voting for and against the impeachment of President Donald Trump. I came up with these conclusions: (1) America has the strongest system of governance in the world (2) America will remain the world power for her undying quest for justice and uprightness. (3) American government runs on rule of law and does not permit lawlessness (4) Whether Democrats or Republicans, points were lucidly stressed based on facts and proper research (5) No one is above the law in America (6) Whether past or current president, they were all given a constructive criticism where necessary without being biased (7) These Reps are product of sound education and moral discipline ( Everyone presented his point in an organized, articulated, explicit and proper gesture within the exact time frame given as if there was some years of rehearsal for this debate. The list can go on and on. I am so speechless about the scenario playing right now in America. Considering the motion for hate speech bill in Nigeria. We are so far away from Democracy. Late Fela Anikulapo saw it ahead and coined it well as "Demonstration of Crazy". Finally, I must say that I stand with the Republicans on this. I say No! to the impeachment too. However, I appreciate the constructive criticisms of the Democrats especially the Black Yorubaitic Rep who dramatized her points as if the president should be pulled out of the office right away. I wish we could get to this point in Nigeria where no leader can toy with the intelligence of Nigerian citizens. God bless America and God bless the Federal Republic of Nigeria

I asked you to give me a logic that proves that if a party impeached a president, the lose seats. Do you know what a logical line of event is? Example if a president does not do what he said during campaign there is a great probability that the people that voted for him before won’t vote for him, now that is a logical line of event. Give me a logical line of event that says if a president is impeached, the party that impeached him will lose seats.

Don’t tell me about two democratic members that will switch or go independent, do you know if any republican is also going to switch? Give me logic please.

Those offenses were not as bad as painted but we both know that this is about political interest and 2020 election. If you notice the Dems, the've not really said anything so indicting or outrageously incriminating (in action) to warrant impeachment.... Hey, DT is being held accountable for soliciting the help of a foriegn government to meddle in the next coming election by withholding congressional approved military aid funds to Ukraine in other to get them to investigate his rival opponent for his political gains.

He obstructed Congress by instructing his staff's with firsthand informations about his orchestrated scheme to defile congressional lawful subpoenas which is an admittance of guilt.

So let's stay on facts here on why he is getting impeached and not for any other contrary and irrelevant opinion.

Even if the senate exonerate him (100% likely), then he will still go down in history as the third USA president that was impeached. They already broke Trump’s spirit with this action and you should look at this as a whole.
