First of all it is Eko Atlantic, not ''Eco Atlantic''.

Secondly, the two paradigms - social and economic development - are not mutually incompatible. In fact the latter leads to the former, as you need money to provide those social benefits you outlined.

And Eko Atlantic is not a ''vanity project'', but an effort that will employ directly and otherwise, up to 3 million Nigerians , while boosting economic activity and national GDP immeasurably.

You are absolutely correct. In the next 40 years, cities like Port Harcourt, Calabar, Kano, Onitsha etc will be UNRECOGNISABLE from today. Their city centres will boast skyscrapers and modern infrastructure, and the cities will have all round improved services from what we have today.

By then Nigeria's rail system will be completed and integrated, with every state capital connected to the network. This will dramatically reduce the cost of doing business, leading to widespread economic prosperity.
