Ok local football haters look away ![]() Akwa United vs Akwa Starlets (Dakada fc) the city is divided I made threats of jumping ship but I remain Akwa United for life(at least for this match )Funny enough our current coach Kennedy Boboye beat them in the Aiteo cup the year Plateau won the league. Nairaland fans NPFL player of the year Mfon Udoh is in torrid form at the moment. So bad that the last coach accused him of selling matches. I can tell when a player has lost confidence and this is what is going on. Boboye has never had an elite scorer on his team so I am sure he will lessen the pressure. Starlets have always been a good side. Players like Ubong Friday and Aniekeme Okon came right out of starlets into our starting XIs. So their success doesn't really come as a surprise. Still I always feel we have the edge over them since they are technically our feeder team. My idea is for the state government to sell them to a private entity that will stay in the state. Just listening to the radio I can tell people would love the idea of picking a side. As a matter of fact that is what made my mind up, hearing so many people switch on united. This is the best chance they are high on the log and have talented young players. |

jihday:In Arsenal it's a tactical game based on tactics and strategy. With Duncan it's Do or Die, Blood and Guts, effort effort effort, work work. You ate effectively trying to grind out results by work rate determination and aggression. It's very basic but effective. Iwobi l am sure has never ran up and down attacking and defending so much in his entire career. Iwobi has never WORKED SO HARD in 4/5 consecutive games ever. No suprise he got injured. |

In addition making a sensible proposition about conduct on the forum. If you have issues with that then examine yourself too. I don't know what you mean by " Behave the same way " |

andrewbaba44:No need arguing with this man Andrew. Someone that said we should not criticize players. Let him tell that to all the sports analyst that make a living from being acerbic with their opinion towards players. Let him tell that to the guys at supersport, sky sports, bein sports et all Just tell him Iwobi is world class so that he will rest. Joker of the century |

To be honest, Ikone and Osimhen have assisted each other more than any other in that Lille team. Ikone accounts for some of Osimhen's goals (vs Monaco, vs Brest I think, vs Monaco again, etc) while Osimhen accounts for two of his goals so far this season (vs Rennes & against one other Ligue 1 team). Galtier definitely had a word with Ikone after that small penalty drama and obviously has the lad playing with Osimhen even better. Osimhen missed him for the rest of the game vs Monaco yesterday as he left injured. Blueelf: |

The Final three for the CAF Youth Player of the Year is: Achraf Hakimi (Morocco & Borussia Dortmund) Victor Osimhen (Nigeria & LOSC Lille) Samuel Chukwueze (Nigeria & Villarreal CF) Meanwhile Ighalo missed out on the Final 3 shortlist for the prestigious CAF APOTY after initially making the 30man list and also the Top 10 list.... Now we have predictably Mane, Salah and Mahrez. The CAF awards comes up on 7th January 2020.

transfer rumors and links are among condiments that makes up the game of soccer but negativity is written all over you disposition. nigerian players are not only the ones who fails to move to big teams after much rumors and news neither are they going to be the last. lille are not interested in selling him atleast until the summer but lille coach few days ago admitted that anything can happen if the right offer comes.
